Y/n pov:

It's me and Nellie's 5 year anniversary and I just simply can't wait! She's been busy lately and for a moment I even suspected she was cheating but that's a silly though she would never do that, I know it for a fact and she's just an amazing person. I have been thinking of proposing to her, I love her so much. She promised she'd be home early today, so I'd have to get everything and myself ready quickly. She gets of at 5 and it's already 4. I light some candles in the bedroom with some rose pedals on the ground and wight bed sheet. The rose pedals on the ground is in a shape of a heart. I will be standing in the heart when I ask het the big question.
Nellie should be home any minute now and I'm starting to get quite nervous. I know she loves me and she will absolutely say yes but what if something goes wrong?

*stop overthinking y/n you're just making it worse*

The sound of the front dore slamming shut brings me back to reality instantly.

*she's home*

I quickly prepare myself by standing in the middle of the heart. I can feel my heart pounding hard against my chest. "Y/n, I'm home. Where are you my love?" Now everything feels to real almost. "I'm up here!" I call from upstairs. Just as she opens the dore I greet her with a loving kiss and a long hug. "oh my-love what's all this?" she asks while looking at the room and the beautiful decorations. She looks amazed. I give her a warm smile and go on my one knee and pull out a beautiful ring.

"Nellie we have been dating for 5 years now. You are beautiful, loving, caring and just amazing. In the 5 years we've been together I learned a lot. The most important thing that I learned is that.. I can never live without you and that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to spend my life loving you and caring for you. You are my whole world, my best friend, my heart, my life and love. Nellie, I want to spend every day telling you how beautiful you are, how much I love and adore you. I want to wake up next to you every morning and admire you. I want to dance with you in our living room. I want to grow old together... My darling I love you with all my heart and I don't ever want to lose you and i'll never risk losing you. So Nellie my darling will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" It feels like my heart is beating outside my chest at this point. She has tears running down her face just like mine. " YES, YES, A MILLION TIMES YES!!!!"I immediately pull her into a deep, loving, passionate but soft kiss.

"The ring is beautiful my love"
"Happy anniversary, I love you so much Nellie"
"I love you too Y/n.. So much and happy anniversary"
