* P.S. I haven't written anything Undertale since around... Maybe June or July? As I've mostly been focused on ORV and SVSSS, and just started reading TOTCF recently so yeah.
* Hopefully my writing has improved the tiniest bit.

Title: Favorite Sculpture

Slither
Slither
The sound of slithering could be heard as what looks to be a brightly colored snake moves past the grassy area before shaking off any ashes that clung to it. An annoyed sound escaped from the creature before it continued on slithering until it reached an open area in the forest it has been traversing through.
In the middle of the area was a stone statue of what looks like a skeleton reaching out for something, the holes where the statue's eyes would be somehow portraying grief of what looks to be loss.
The statue that was of someone frozen in time was what the slithering creature's goal was as it approached the still image made of rock. Is it actually rock?
Hiss
The creature then revealed itself into the light, showing a Monster with the upper body being a black skeleton with multicolored bones, and the lower body simply being a long snake-like tail with three colors, with blue being the main one. It was a lamia.
The lamia slithered around the statue for a bit before reaching it's body until his at the same height as the statue and then rubbed his cheek against the other's.
"Dreamy, I'm back."
A deep voice with echoing static that follows spoke to the statue, setting down a basket with food inside. He then looked away from the statue so he could set it up, ignoring the sounds of grinding from behind him as he does so.
"Welcome back, Ruru." A whispy voice echoed from behind him as a pair of stoney arms wrapped around the midsection of the black lamia. Ruru, or better known as Error, smiled gently at the feeling and carefully patted the hands around him and glanced behind, seeing that the stone statue, which was now away from the spot it was previously in before, was behind him.
A weeping angel.
That was what his lover was. A being only told from horror stories, and wasn't meant to exist, or wasn't made in any AUs because the creator refuses to do so, was standing behind him.
It was the perfect lover for Error too, as it would mean that he would never turn to stone once his eyes set upon him, for he was already stone. The arms around his midsection then left before moving in front of Error and sitting down.
"What have you brought in today?" Dream curiously asked as he watched his boyfriend set down the food and items he had scavenged from his expedition. Error glanced up at Dream with his bright, slitted eyes before smiling brightly. "New food." Error chirped softly, making Dream mirror his bright smile.
"I see. Looks like Ruru would be having a fun feast today." Dream commented softly as he then watched Error wrap himself around the weeping angel before nuzzling his cheek once more. "Ah, if only I could eat with you, it would've bren splendid." Dream softly said and Error kissed Dream's frontal lobe. "It's okay Dreamy, just eating with you is enough." Error smiled brightly, making Dream chuckle lightly and nod.
Ah, his favorite lamia, and probably the only existing monster that's made, or maybe created from a greek mythology. After all, a unique trait of his lamia boyfriend was his ability to turn those he looks at into stone. He could even remember him mentioning how it made destroying AUs much, much easier.
It made him happy, especially since the faster Error is done, the more time he gets to spend with his boyfriend.
"Dreamy, what are you thinking about?" Error asked as he then puts a chocolate treat into his mouth. "Nothing, sweetie. Just thinking of what to do with my next victim." Dream replied gently, not really planning to tell how he'll be terrorizing Ink again soon.
He was quite proud of being the reason for one of his nightmares, as negativity doesn't affect him in this frozen stone state.
The two lovers then continued to enjoy their time under the night sky, eating and chatting in their little spot in the abandoned AU of Dreamtale.
