Decemberchallenge Stories

Prompt #3: During Simbang Gabi in Barangay 17, strange events unfold. Rumors of an enchanted guest attending the misa de gallo spread, and it's up to a group of kids to uncover whether the visitor is a blessing or a curse.

❝Don't get your panties in a bunch. . . or your tinsel in a tangle!❞ Farrah Morton thinks that fate most definitely is not in her favor given she's a Christmas fanatic stuck in a hospital for the holidays, undergoing strenuous physical therapy whilst simultaneously being courted by an awkward (admittedly hot) volunteer who doesn't seem to understand that she's literally uninterested. UPDATE: Tied for 1st place in the Dec'19 SciFi Challenge. That's 1st Place two Decembers in a row! Too Cool. My entry for the December 2019 Scifi challenge. The prompt: "Tenancha sy Tyrin". It's been several months since I've entered a story, but I couldn't miss out on this third in the December Challenge series.

December'22 SciFi Challenge. Once again, the title is the prompt. Winner in the Alt-U profile. s'Stahltonis and d'Doretta watch as the volcanic rivers of fire wind their way down the mountainside, toward their village. Will they be spared, or driven from their home? Only the Gods know for sure.
