~~~NOTE~~~
Starry is off to train even though she just finished up her heat... yikes... Neko's bodies are strained and exhausted after their heats, so she's supposed to be resting the day after she finishes one. I guess she has other plans though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
"Hey Kaku, have you seen Starry today?" Lucci asked as he walked into Kaku's office, the sound of writing filling the air. Kaku looked up from his paperwork and shook his head, his eyes filled with curiosity. "I haven't seen her all day. I've been in my office working on reports and filling out paperwork." Kaku replied, his voice laced with concern. He knew that Starry had a habit of disappearing for long periods of time, her curiosity often getting the best of her. However, this time was different, she had just finished her heat which left her body worn down. Kaku stood from his desk and walked over to the window, looking out at the training area. His eyes scanned the large field, searching for any sign of her. His gaze landed on a small figure in the distance, the person wielding a metal staff and moving with precision and speed. He recognized the fighter immediately, their movements identical to Starry's own. "Looks like she's training... How about we go make things more interesting?"
"I'll meet you there," Lucci said with a smirk and made his way toward the door, eager to challenge Starry. He arrived at the training area and saw that Kaku had already arrived, his gaze focused on the small figure in the distance. Kaku approached him and placed a hand on his shoulder, his body tense and ready for battle. They shared a knowing look before heading towards the figure, their footsteps light and silent as they moved through the shadows. As they got closer Kaku could see that it was indeed Starry, her body covered in sweat and her chest heaving as she breathed heavily. She hadn't noticed them yet, her attention was focused on her training. Kaku crouched down behind a nearby bush and watched as she continued to practice, her movements graceful and fluid. The pair hid in the bushes and watched as Starry practiced her techniques, her staff moving through the air with ease. She was focused and determined, her expression serious and her stance firm. They waited patiently for the right moment, their bodies poised and ready to attack. After a few moments, Starry stopped moving, her breathing labored and her body glistened with sweat. She looked exhausted, her muscles trembling from the exertion. This was their chance, they had to strike now. Kaku looked over at Lucci and nodded, silently signaling to him that it was time to move. They stepped out of the bushes and began to approach Starry, their steps light and quiet. As soon as they were within striking range they attacked, their movements quick and precise.
Starry's ears flicker cock back and she spins around just in time to raise her staff and block a powerful punch from the duo. They send her skidding back about ten yards on her feet, her tail swishing behind her to help keep her balanced. Kaku grins and pulls his swords out, looking at her from under the bill of his hat as she hisses and bares her fangs. Starry gets into her defensive stance with her staff held tightly in her hands, her pupils narrowing slightly as her eyes dart in between the two men.
"Well now darling, that wasn't very nice. What do you think Lucci?" Kaku said as he looked at Lucci with a smirk, his tone playful and teasing. Lucci rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest, his expression stoic and unreadable. "I think she's being a brat. What do you say we teach her a lesson?" Lucci replied, his voice low and threatening. Kaku grinned and nodded, the two of them approaching Starry with caution. She hissed again and kept her fangs bared at them, her ears pressed flat against her head and her tail swishing behind her like a pissed off cat. Kaku chuckled and shook his head, finding her actions amusing. She was so small compared to them, her height barely reaching up to their chests. They could easily overpower her, their size and strength overwhelming. But that didn't mean they weren't going to go easy on her, no, they were going to make her work for it. Kaku lunged forward, his sword raised high above his head. Starry reacted quickly, her instincts kicking in as she blocked his attack. She was fast, her reflexes sharp and her movements precise. However, he could tell that she was tired, her body struggling to keep up with his speed. He grinned and pushed against her, his strength causing her to stumble backward. Lucci took the opportunity to strike, his fist connecting with her stomach and knocking the air out of her lungs. She gasped and doubled over, her knees hitting the ground as she coughed and wheezed. Lucci took advantage of the situation and kicked her in the chest, sending her flying through the air. She landed hard on her back, the impact knocking the wind out of her. She struggled to get up, her body aching and her lungs burning. Lucci watched as she tried to stand, her legs shaking and her eyes filled with determination. She managed to get to her feet and take a defensive stance, her staff held in front of her. She was a fighter, her spirit unbroken and her willpower unwavering. It was one of the many things he loved about her, her resilience and stubbornness. She was always so strong, refusing to give up even when the odds were stacked against her. He admired that about her, his heart swelling with pride as he watched her stand her ground. She could probably hold her own against Kaku, but she was no match for him and definitely not the two of them.
