***Two days later.***

The trio gathers on the ship to sail out to the island where their mission is located, the last place the pirate crew was spotted. They board the ship with their bags in hand. Lucci walks to the helm of the ship as it begins sailing. The boat cuts through the waves, the sea breeze ruffling his hair as they head towards their destination. He glances over his shoulder and sees Kaku and Starry standing on deck, their expressions serious as they look at him. "The trip should only take about a day. When we get there we will hunt down the pirates and locate their ship. Spandam doesn't want any civilization casualties and wants this done on the down low. We will find them and wait until that evening to eliminate them."

"Yes sir, understood," Starry replies with a nod of her head as she crosses her arms and gives him a big fanged smile. It's been a while since she's been able to go on a hunt, her bloodlust sometimes rivaling even Lucci's. She glances up at Kaku who also has his arms crossed as he simply nods, not paying full attention. His eyes glance over to the side as he looks at something from under the bill of his hat. When she turns in that direction she sees a couple of low ranks working and occasionally looking over at her. They see her looking over at them and one quickly looks away with a blush while the other smiles and waves at her. They are both new recruits, fresh out of training and still wet behind the ears. They are probably starstruck by the fact that they get to work with three of the most elite members of Cipher Pol, let alone the fact that one of them are extremely rare neko. They are both young and naive but they have potential. They just need to learn how to control their emotions and not let them get in the way of their work. It's hard to do when you're faced with someone like Starry though. She has a unique charm that draws people to her like she's magnetic in a way that makes people want to follow her lead. She has a charisma and confidence that can make even the strongest of men weak in the knees. It's part of the reason why Lucci fell for her so fast. Still, that doesn't mean it doesn't bother him when other men stare at her like that. He may be used to it, but it still irks him whenever someone stares and their woman.

Lucci watches them with a blank expression before briefing and closing his eyes. He's not blind to the way they look at Starry, he's well aware of the effect she has on people. She's irresistible, beautiful, and strong, all wrapped up in one tiny package. She's like a drug, addictive and dangerous, but oh so tempting. He knows how hard it is to resist her and he's been there himself. He's seen the way she draws people in, he's seen the way they look at her like she's a goddess sent from heaven. But that doesn't stop him from feeling a little possessive, especially when they look at her like that. It's not a good look for someone of his status, he knows that, but he can't help it. He can't help but feel a little jealous when he sees other people looking at her like that. Especially when he has a pretty good idea of where their minds are at by how their eyes roam her body. He opens his eyes and looks at them again, his gaze sharp and piercing as he stares them down. Almost as if they could feel Lucci's glare they both freeze when their eyes lock, they quickly put their heads down and continue their work.

Kaku can see the tension in their shoulders, their movements stiff and robotic as they work. It's clear they're nervous, and he can't blame them. Lucci has a way of making people feel like prey. His presence alone is enough to intimidate anyone. He looks at him and shakes his head, his expression exasperated as he walks over to stand beside him. Lucci glances at him and smirks, his demeanor relaxing slightly as he looks at him. "Golly they're just kids, Lucci. Leave 'em be, they're not worth your time." He says lightly, the tone teasing as he looks at the taller man. Lucci scoffs and rolls his eyes with his expression unamused as he looks at Kaku. "I don't know Kaku. Those 'kids' look like they're about your age, young man." Starry teases and watches his face flush as he hides it behind the bill of his hat and the collar of his shirt. She can't help but giggle softly at such an adorable reaction. He groans and rubs his temples, his expression pained as he looks at her. He can hear Lucci snickering behind him, the sound making his face heat up even more. He sighs, lifting his hat briefly, and runs his fingers through his hair, his gaze softening as he looks at her. "You're a menace, you know that? Geez..."
