It was a regular night in Crystal Cove as most people were relaxing at home. Others were getting some last minute chores finished or watching TV. But then a limo pulls up to one of the homes and honks its horn. A teenage boy exits the house in a tux, getting ready for prom night. Though he was having a bit of trouble with his mother, who wouldn't stop taking pictures. The teen knew his mom was excited, but she was overdoing it way to much.

Teen: No more, Mom. Please. That is, like, your third memory card.

Mother: Sorry, it's just that I remember my prom. So much joy and passion, the best night of our lives too. Remember dear?

Father: You didn't go with me.

Mother: Oh, right.

Teen: Ok, I'm late, I gotta go.

With that, the teen finally was able to get into the limo. Once he did, he saw that his prom date was already inside. After getting in, the limo started driving off to the nearby school. As the teen and his date sat in silence, the teen gave his date a blue flower he bought. After a few minutes, the girl had wrapped the teen in a hug. But little did the teen know just how much danger he was really in right now. And once the teen's date spoke up, she said something that really confused him.

Date: Thanks for coming with me, Randy. Can I make a confession? This isn't really my first prom.

Randy: What do you mean? Were you held back or something?

Date: No. At my other schools, I went to prom with other boys.

Randy: Well, I just want to party and have some fun.

Date: Honestly, I think you're the one. Are you the one, Randy?

Randy didn't really know how to respond to that. He was flattered that his date seemed to be interested in him like that. He wanted to try and let her down easy and explain he'd want to take things one step at a time. But just before he could, his date had suddenly pulled off her skin. And it revealed she was no ordinary girl, but some sort of zombie girl. That had caused Randy to scream as he tried to escape, but to no avail.

Randy: What?

Zombie Girl: Be my boyfriend, Randy. For ever and ever!

All the zombie girl did was laugh as Randy started screaming. He tried to get away, but the doors to the limo were locked tight. And as the limo disappeared, Randy's screams could be heard. Sadly, no one would be able to hear him as his screams faded out. Because he had just fallen victim to a sinister being. One who's next target was going to be none other than right at Crystal Cove High.

At the Roger's house, Shaggy, Scooby, and Velma were all watching a movie. And, of course, it was another Vincent Van Ghoul movie Shaggy and Scooby loved. This one being about Van Ghoul slaying a hoard of female vampires in some remote European town. Of course, Shaggy and Scooby were both hiding under some sheets. As for Velma, she wasn't really interested in movies like Van Ghoul's. And she had no idea how Shaggy and Scooby were into it since they're easily scared.

As the movie finished, it played an announcement from Van Ghoul. Apparently, there was some yearly event where Van Ghoul's top movies would play all weekend. At the mere mention of it, Shaggy and Scooby both started cheering. As for Velma, she was still conflicted about her relationship with Shaggy. There was also the fact that their one month dating anniversary was coming up this weekend. And it just so happened to land on the night of the schools prom. After clearing her throat, Shaggy knew she was annoyed.
