When Tam woke the next morning, Keefe was gone. And so was Ro. He sat up, wondering where the two had gone, and paid attention to his surroundings. If the kidnappers had come back... No. He wouldn't think like that. Which is why he stood up, quietly, and saw something move out the corner of his eye. He reached for a throwing star, and let it fly, but it hit a piece of paper with something written on it. A note. He thought. He ripped it off the wall, and read, Morning! I decided to let you sleep in, but I'm right outside with Ro, so there's no reason to worry. I know you'd kill me if I went off for our friends without you. ;) Love ya–Keefe. Tam chuckled at Alden's motto. And with that, he headed outside, smirking in spite of himself.
(A/N: I know its short, but I'm trying to post as much as I can. We just moved, and had family over yesterday for Thanksgiving, and right now, I'm in the house. I'm not calling it ''home'' cause that's not what it is and cause I didn't want to move but apparently we had no other choice and...oh, sorry, I'm venting. Let me end this here by saying thank you all for reading this fanfic and that 28 reads is the most I've ever gotten. Small compared to other numbers, but for me, its big.
