I sighed as I arrived at work after dropping my baby brother off at my Besties house. I sighed quickly, straightening my uniform and hiding the cuts and scrapes from self-harm, washing my hands before walking into work. I sighed as I walked into the Café and forced a smile and a somewhat cheerful disposition and said Morning Dazzle, can you have the rest of the team come out to the counter please and also ask poppy to get me a breakfast muffin while I take a moment to make a personal call. I smiled as she nodded and said, of course, Jasper. I sighed and said thank you, getting up, walking to the restroom washing up, cleaning myself up, and splashing my face with cold water. I sighed and shifted as I walked out and sat down and called Mr best friend/babysitter and said, "Hey Man, I need you to bring Jordan to Butterbeans with you now." I sighed as he looked at me and said OK is something wrong? " I shook my head and said no, just please come and try not to worry him. I sighed as I hung up and sat down at the counter and smiled as Poppy, Butterbean, Dazzle and Cricket Sat down and said Good morning Jasper what's going on why'd you want us all to meet you here? I sighed as I began eating my breakfast and said I asked you guys to meet with me because I needed your help. I sighed as I finished eating, stood up, and removed my shirt, revealing numerous burns and cuts spelling out various messages from my fault to it should have been me. I sighed and shifted as They all gasped and said, "What happened!" I shifted and looked away and said my parents were burned to death in a wild fire during a camping trip because they thought that I had taken my brother into a neighboring camping site to Visit family but in reality we went out hiking. Long story short, the Park Rangers managed to rescue me and my brother, but I was unable to get to my parents in time. I have been racked with guilt, and well, this is the result. I sighed as Buttbean hugged me and said, "Oh Jasper, that's horrible!" I sighed as I looked down and said it is what it is I wouldn't trouble you with it but I'm going to need extra support for a while. I smiled as I heard my Besties car and walked to the door and opened it and stepped out, picking up my baby brother from his car seat and walking back inside.
