I sighed as I was helping with orders and shifted as I felt Jordan's small hand tug on my pant leg. I smiled as I knelt down, picked him up, and said, "What's wrong?" He frowned and shifted, rubbing his tummy as it rumbled. I smiled and nodded hey Poppy can you get Jordan a banana smoothie and a slice of banana bread. I smiled as Poppy nodded, handing me a baby bottle full of banana smoothie and banana bread. I smiled as I set Jordan into his highchair and gave him the food, and kissed his forehead. I smiled as he kissed my cheek in gratitude and said, "You're welcome, little bro." I smiled and playfully ruffled his hair and watched to make sure he didn't choke and smiled as I washed his hands and face after he'd finished. I smiled as I pulled him out of his highchair and walked into the restroom, where I completed a diaper change and gave him a quick once over. I smiled as he hugged me and coos. I smiled as I kissed his cheek and redressed him. I smiled as I picked him up, then said, "Come on, baby bro. I sighed as I carried him out and smiled as I set him down in a little play pen I had set up and smiled as I went back to help at the counter. Hey Jasper, are you OK? I shifted and said yeah just dealing with a little case of the blues." I'll be fine. I sighed and looked down at the counter for a moment then said Butterbean I need a moment can you keep an eye on Jordan while I take a quick walk around the block?" I smiled as she nodded and said of course just make sure you let me know if there's anything I can help you with. I nodded and walked over to Jordan and said bud I'm going out for a little while Butterbean is going to take care of you I'd you need anything just let her know. I smiled as he nodded and made up hands. I smiled and picked him up and smiled as he hugged me tightly and whispered wove you Bruber. I smiled and said I love you too. I smiled as he reached out to Butterbean and smiled as she pulled him into her arms. I smiled and said hey Butterbean can I borrow cricket for a little bit I have an idea and need her help. I smiled as Butterbean nodded and said just remember what I've said. I nodded and smiled as Cricket came out and said what's up? I smiled and said I want your help picking out a puppy for Jordan. I smiled as she nodded and said OK.
