Soyeon felt like she was going to jump out of the driving bus as soon as she saw Jaemin waiting for her at the station. She gathered her stuff as quickly as possible and just couldn't wait to get out of there and hug the boy who waited patiently to see her too.
As soon as the driver opened the door, she almost tripped while rushing to get out of there - surprising not only others but herself too. She quite never needed to see someone so badly.
Once Jaemin found her with his eyes, he stepped back a little upon the view of Soyeon rushing towards him with the biggest smile on her reddened face. And when she threw herself into his arms while the bag ended up on the ground without a care, Jaemin grabbed her tightly, lifting her up without a problem.
"Hey." he said, feeling her legs wrap around his waist.
When she felt satisfied enough with the first hug in a week, she pulled away to look him in the eyes while he still held her up. "Hey." she smiled while so did Jaemin. The two shared a beautiful kiss that caught people's attention, but they didn't care - let them watch, Soyeon thought.
"How was the ride?"
"It was ok!"
Jaemin finally put the girl down and grabbed her bag while offering his free hand to hold hers. With a smile on her face she quickly intertwined their fingers and proceeded to get out of there as quickly as possible.
Soyeon looked around the bus station and it seemed to be kind of in the middle of nowhere. Once the boy saw her slightly confused face, he chuckled and said "I told you it's a small town. It has its charms, though."
"I bet it does." she flashed her pearly whites.
When the two paused in their tracks by a car, the girl's eyes widened a little. "You have a car?"
"Technically, it's my parents', but since they're out of town they left it for me."
"I didn't know you can drive."
"There's still a lot you don't know about me." he winked, sending shivers down Soyeon's spine. "Hop in." he added after opening the door for her like the gentleman she would never think he was.
"Thank you."
Once Jaemin got behind the wheel and both were buckled up and ready to go, Soyeon grabbed the boy by the shirt and pulled him closer. She placed her lips on his, unable to wait any longer. When he smiled in between the kisses, she couldn't help but do the same which then led to both of them chuckling.
"Are you hungry, babe?" he asked, placing a kiss onto her cheek.
"A little, do you have a place in mind?"
He hummed in response and started the engine. As soon as the music filled the car and they drove off, Jaemin put his hand on Soyeon's thigh. When his touch already gave Soyeon goosebumps, she turned to glance at the boy who was smiling as he kept his eyes on the road. Soyeon's lips curled up too and she turned around, covering her obvious smile. Suddenly, Jaemin reached for her hand and intertwined their fingers once more. Within few seconds, he put it up to his face to place a gentle kiss on the back of it, giving Soyeon butterflies.
