I held Sangmin's hand as she was very tired from crying.
"Maybe after you sleep, I can ask you some questions. Don't worry, you're not going to be interrogated, we just need to know a few things." I said and walked a bit farther from a room that had a bed.
"Kay." She said and wiped her eyes.
We reached the door that had a bed and a bathroom.
"Take a nap as long as you want. The bathroom's on the left." I said and she basically collapsed on the bed.
I sighed and walked back to my office.
"Did you get her?" Jackson asked.
"Yeah, Sangmin's taking a nap in the station's various beds." I said and opened my laptop again.
In two hours, I was about to pack up until I heard the toilet flush and water begun to run; indicating Sangmin's nap was done.
"Hey, do you have makeup remover by the chance?" She asked.
"I can ask my other officer if she has any makeup remover for you." I said and walked to Sujin; the other officer.
"Yeah, I do. Do you need some?" She asked.
"Yeah, it's for a victim." I said as I watched her shake the bottle of makeup remover and got some cotton pads and then handed back three cotton pads.
"Here's that." Sujin said and I handed the pack to her.
"Thanks Sujin. See you tomorrow." I said as she was exiting the station's main entrance.
"Ok," I said and stepped in the door again, "are you willing to talk?"
"Yes." Sangmin said and proceeded to removed the smudges on her eye area with her front camera with her phone.
When she was done, she looked for a trash can to throwaway the cotton pad.
"I'll take it." I said and handed the use cotton pad and threw it away in the small white trash can in my office.
"Ok, ready to answer some questions?" I asked and opened a new portfolio on Sangmin.
"Sure." She said.
"Where were you in life?"
That question seemed to hit her hard.
"God, long story short, I was raised in an abusive household. My dad would abused me or locked me in a dark room from hours on end for no goddamn reason. That's why I became partially suicidal." She said.
