"Oh hey, where's Yugyeom?" Jackson asked when I stepped in the door on Monday.
"He's still recovering from a hangover two days ago." I said and opened my laptop.
Then Sujin pushed open the door and I gulped.
"Hey Jackson, hey Jinyoung," she said and sat down in her chair along with opening her laptop, "where's Yugyeom?"
"Recovering from a hangover." I said and woke up my laptop.
"Well." She said and stud up.
"Where're you going?" I asked.
"To grab coffee. I didn't sleep well last night. Do you wanna come?" She asked and stud up.
"Uh, no thank you." I said.
"Alright." Sujin said and walked out of the door along with her walking out of the main entrance.
In fifteen minutes, she came back with a Starbucks drink and set it down and then opened her laptop.
"Oh, what'd you get?" I asked curiously.
"A caramel Brûlée latte." She said, thus beginning to blow on the cup along with drinking a little sip of it.
Then she heard a sound coming from her phone and she pulled up the text message she got.
Sujin sighed and typed six words and put her phone in her jean pocket.
"Who was that?" I asked.
"Yugyeom. He's asking me if I started digging into an unsolved case yet." She said and frowned on her computer on something.
"What'd you say?" I laughed.
"'Yes I did.'" Sujin tapped her left index finger on the counter.
"He's weird like that. I don't blame you." I said and laughed
Then Jackson stepped in the door with his chief badge proudly on the left.
"Hi guys." He said and sat down on his chair on the right.
"Oh, did you hear about Yugyeom?" I asked.
"Uh, no. What happened?" He asked, a frown on his face.
"Long story short, he got really drunk last night. That's why he's not here today in the station." I said and shrugged.
"I mean, he has a lot of sick days off. I wouldn't blame him." Jackson nodded.
In two hours, I was about to wrap up until Sangmin walked in the station's office and stud in front of the door.
I looked at the clock and found it was eleven fifty.
"Oh, ok. I'll wrap up. I just need to shut down my laptop." I said and started to close all the apps on my computer and shut it.
"Did you get all your work done?" She asked.
"I only have a sliver left and I'm done with that part." I said and opened the door for Sangmin.
"That's good." She said.
Now, the food court was busy again.
"Maybe I'll eat in my room." Sangmin mumbled that I could barely hear.
"What. Ok.." I said and thus walked forward.
We reached the end of the line and I scanned in.
"Alright, what would you like to eat today?" I said and opened the door for her.
"Ooo, there's Korean fried chicken in the second line." She said and walked briskly.
"Oh, I might have that too." I said and stud in the back of Sangmin.
Finally, in twenty minutes we reached the end of the line and an older woman smiled at Sangmin and I.
"Hello, do you still have the fried chicken left?" I asked and brought out my BCD card ready.
"Yes we do." She said and I scanned my card and it gave me an option if I wanted a receipt.
I hit 'Yes' and it gave me a lengthy receipt and she carefully ripped off the excess paper.
"Alright. I'll bring back the chicken." She said and walked back.
I stayed standing.
"Do we sit?" Sangmin asked.
"No. They're really fast at delivering meals." I said and waited.
