Preference#39- Babysitting Lux

Louis: Lou had asked if you and Louis could look after Lux while she and Tom went out for dinner, of course Louis said yes. This would the first time that you had meet Lux. "Thank you guys so much, it's been so long since Tom and I have been out." Lou thanked. "No worries love you know I love Lux and I'm sure that (Y/N) will too. She loves children." Lou nodded and kissed Lux goodbye, while handing you her overnight bag. Louis was talking to Lux, then placed her in front of the TV, and changed the channel to Dora the Explorer. "I'm just going to put her bag in the guest room; do you have a cot/crib?" "Yeah Tom brought it over yesterday, it's all set up." Louis replied. You walked up the stairs to the guest room and placed the bag next to the cot/crib. While walking down the stairs you could hear Lux crying. "Louis she is crying." No reply, you jogged over to Lux, and picked her up. She looked up at you and kept crying. "Are you hungry? Louis where is the baby food?" Still no reply. You huffed and carried Lux upstairs and she kept crying, you placed her in her cot/crib and looked through her bag there it was. "Lux can you hold this for me?" You said handing her the jar. Once Lux had the jar in her hand you picked her up again and headed back downstairs. Lux was calming down a little now. You kept her busy with a couple of kitchen utensils, soon she was laughing. "Louis where are you?" still no reply, you started to think that he had left you with Lux. You read the instructions on the jar, and served it up for Lux. She was happy again. Louis then appeared in the doorway. You know that I left you alone with her on purpose right?" "Yeah I got the just after a while." You giggled. Lux then giggled you all laughed.

Liam: Liam had told you that you were going away on a holiday for a couple of days and that Tom, Lou and Lux would be coming too. You all arrived at the airport in Hawaii Lou said that they would met us at the hotel. So you and Liam went shopping. Once you were back at the Hotel and had gotten your room you meet you with Tom, Lou and Lux. "Hey, sorry to imply on you both but Tom and I really want to go to the bar for a couple of drinks do you mind watching Lux?" Lou asked. "No not at all Liam and I were going to go for a swim; Lux can join us, is that alright?" You replied. "Oh thank you, yes here is one of the keys to our room Lux has floaties and her swimmers in her suitcase, thank you again, it has been so long since Tom and I got to spend time together and get a little drunk as well." Lou giggled. "No worries go and have fun." Liam responded with a smile. You took Lux you to her room and changed her; this wasn't the first time that you had changed Lux, you had done it once before while Liam was in the shower. You met Liam down at the pool. You gave Lux to Liam while you got into the pool. "Isn't she just the cutest?" You asked, Liam nodded. Something was bugging him. "Liam what's up?" "I thought that this holiday was going to be time for us to spend together since I hardly ever get to see you." "I'm sorry Liam if I knew that you felt that way I wouldn't have said yes." "No it's alright; we can do something together later." "Are you sure?" "Yes I'm sure let's spend some time with Lux." He said handing Lux over to you. You played games with Lux until it got dark.

Zayn: You and Lou had gotten really close so when she asked you to babysit you had no problem and Zayn didn't either. You and Zayn drove over to their house; Lou thought it would be easier if you just stayed at their place because all of Lux's things were there. You pulled up and Lux was waiting at the door for you. You left Zayn to carry your bag and picked up Lux. "Hey there baby girl!" You exclaimed, and Lux grinned. "Hi Lou how have you been?" "Good, thank you for doing this Tom and I haven't had the chance to see each other since the boys and I got back from New York, I thought it would be nice to visit family and just spend some time together just us." "That will be nice." "Yeah it will, Tom we have to go now or we will miss our flight." "Coming Lou." They left giving you and Zayn lots of instructions. You put the list up on the fridge, and putt Lux down in her bedroom to play. You and Zayn sat on the lounge chatting when you lost track of time, it was already dark and 7:30 pm. You stood up and picked up Lux and Zayn ran a bath for her, you stripped her down and placed her in the bathtub, while washing her Zayn made her dinner. "Hey there Lux I'm going to wash your hair now." You cooed. You lent Lux back so you could wet her hair but she started to scream. "What happened (Y/N) why is Lux screaming?" "Ah I lent her back to wet her head but then she started to scream, I don't get it." "Oh Lou told me about that in New York, Lux won't lean back in the bath because she hit her head when she did, Lou was wiping her hands when it happened." "Oh that makes sense. We won't wash your hair hen baby girl, okay." She nodded still crying. You picked her up out of the bath and dried her then dressed her in her pyjamas. Zayn had finish getting the food ready so you placed her in the highchair and then the food in front of her he was done within 15 minutes. Once she was done Zayn picked her you and placed her in her cot/crib, then gave her a kiss on the cheek, you did the same. After 3 days Lou and Tom came back and you and Zayn looked like zombies.

Harry: When Tom's grandfather died Lou had asked Harry to look after Lux, you hadn't met Lou or Lux before which was odd considering that Harry was her godfather. Lou pulled up in the driveway and Harry went outside to help carry Lux's things in. "Thank you for doing this Harry I just don't think that a funeral is a place for a little girl." Harry nodded. "Lou and Lux I would like you to meet (Y/N). (Y/N) has just moved in with me, I know exactly what you are going to say Lou you haven't met her at all and I'm such and idiot for not introducing you, I'm sorry." "That's alright; I hope that Ill get the chance to get to know her soon." Lou said pushing Harry's shoulder. "That would be lovely, sorry for not getting to know you before I help Harry babysit your child." "That's alright I trust that you will be the sensible one out of the two of you." Lou winked at you. Then she kissed Lux goodbye and drove off. Lux was walking now so you put her down in the lounge room, Harry sat in with her they were watching SpongeBob. You went to take a shower, one you were out you heard crying. You wrapped your towel around you and ran to the lounge room to find Lux crying and Harry asleep, the first thought was how can he sleep through that and the second was what was Lux crying about. You looked over to see Lux lying on her belly. You Picked her up. "What's wrong?" She looked down at her knee. "Aw you poor thin did you fall over?" She nodded. "Harry get up!" You yelled. He jumped up. "What happened?" "Oh I don't know you fell asleep while I was in the shower and then Lux hurt herself." "Oh sorry babe, sorry Lux what's wrong?" "That's ok can you go get an icepack?" He nodded. Lou came to pick up Lux and saw the lump on Lux's knee and asked what happened you explained and Harry sheepishly looked away. (I don't know if Tom's grandfather has actually died, if he has I am sorry. It is just an idea for the preference.)

Niall: Lou asked you and Niall if you could take Lux for the night, you knew that Lou and Tom were exhausted so of course you said yes, even though you and Niall had dinner plans. You told Niall he had said that it was fine and that he would make the reservations for three. You told Lou to dress Lux in a nice outfit as you guys were going out. You were ready by 7 so you picked up Lux and her overnight bag on the way. You arrived just in time for dinner; they brought Lux a highchair and your menus. We had ordered and received our drinks you and Niall were talking about what you were going to do with Lux tomorrow, when Lux spilt her drink all over her baby pink dress. "Niall go and get some napkins." He nodded and jogged off. You picked up Lux and tried to wipe off some of the coke. Niall rushed back with about 100 napkins and you held her while Niall wiped her down. "Shit (Y/N) it's not coming off." "I know that and don't swear in front of her." You told Niall to pay for the food and that you would meet him at the car. You had already buckled Lux in. Niall got into the driver's seat and drove home. You held Lux while Niall ran the shower because you didn't have a bath, you then stripped Lux off and placed her in the shower, then she ran straight. "(Y/N) I don't think she likes showers." You nodded and went back to the bedroom that you and Niall shared you returned to the bathroom in one of Niall's old shirts and got into the shower and held Lux's hand, she was fine then. "How did you know that would work?" Niall questioned. "My sister didn't like showers so when I was left to babysit I would grab and old shirt and stand in the shower with her it worked, I'm going to wash off the coke so she won't be sticky." You explained. Except Lux had other ideas she was splashing Niall, Niall was soaking you laughed. You grabbed the soap and started to wash Lux when Lux grabbed to bottle of bod scrub and squirted it all over Niall you laughed again and gave a high-five to Lux who giggled. You grabbed a towel and dried Lux off then yourself. Niall was next in the shower.
