"..you! Vinny you look great! god its been so long!" i say in a high pitched voice as i embrace my brother in a hug.
"and look what i brought" i hold up my basket of treats for him to see
"i love you and your my favorite sibling" he grabs the basket and sets it on his table.
"whats all the fuss" a voice i dont recognize grows louder as i hear footsteps
a tall dark haired boy-well.. man in sweatpants emerged
my cheeks turn a bit pinker than they were before and i stammer on my words.
"well hi, i'm violet! vincent's sister" i fussed at my nails because i'm nervous
"..pleasure, nicholas." he seemingly unwillingly stuck his hand out
our hands met and his fingers had calluses, must play guitar.
intrigued, i asked. "sorry, do you play an instrument?"
"multiple." he huffed in annoyance of my question "i attend a prestigious school for music you wouldn't know of it."
my face lit up "IMEP?!" i questioned him.
"so you do know of it, yes." he seemed so very unamused by our so far short conversation.
yes, yes. i took the hint "hm.. me too im a top student there." i gave him the bitchiest face i could and turned my attention back to Vincent.
"we should go out for dinner tomorrow, my treat" i suggest noticing nicholas smirk at my attitude and walk away.. was that some kind of sick test?
"of course, but i cant let you pay violet." he put his hand on my shoulder "i know its been rough, dont argue it."
"you really dont have to, ill pay next time though." i wont. i cant.
"see you then vincent, i love you. call me!" i smile and walk out the door
"your sisters leng" a voice i assume is nicholas says as i shut the door. i dont know what that means but.. whatever i guess
when i got home i went on my phone to look it up, assuming it was an insult.
