At 4am?

"I didn't know we had to leave this early"I whine and turn away from Nick, whos standing over me.

"We have to go like yesterday!" he says hurriedly.

"I'm not getting up for this" I say, muffled through the pillow.

"I'm gonna have to grab you and Lilian then.." he shrugs like he has no other option.

"Yeah, you can try." I chuckle and sit up a little.

"Okay then."

Nick tossed me sweatpants and a pink hoodie before walking out of my room to go grab Lilian and put her on a leash.

After like a minute he returns to my room and puts me over his shoulder.

"OKAY, OKAY I GET IT. ILL WALK PUT ME DOWN NICHOLAS!!" I hit Nick's back, trying to make him give in.

"No.. its too late for that" I could practically hear the smile on his face while he walked me out to the car.

A few people who were awake, likely going to the gym stared at us but he didn't seem to care.

I did though. This was SO embarrassing

I waited in the car for a few minutes while nick went to go get our luggage. Did I pack too much for several days?.. Next question.

We drove to the airport listening to the neighborhood playing faintly.

I slept most of the way while nick drove.

Around 9 hours later we finally got off of our plane, jet lagged than a motherfucker.

I couldn't wait to see Viv. She's only been gone for a week but it feels like a year.

We got Vinny to pick us up from the airport and take us to moms.

~in the airport parking lot~

"I don't see him.. did he forget?!" I look around for Vincent's car.

"Would you be patient?" Nick says before blowing warm air onto his hands.

"Oh your cold?"I ask him holding up a pair of gloves.

"You're a life saver." He smiled and reached for them.

Before he had them in his grasp i pulled them away.

"Would you be patient?" I mocked his phrase.

"Yeah you're funny." He tried to grab the gloves from my hand while i held them behind my back

"DUDE WHY ARE YOU OVER MY SISTER?!" A familiar voice inquired.

Vinny didn't know about.. well- anything.

"Shes got my gloves!" Nick pleaded his case.

"Just get in weirdos."Vinny said, leaning over to unlock the door.

"You're seriously spending your time here..with mom?" Vinny asked me.

"Sure am. I have to make sure shes got everything for the next few months.. and that mom knows i'm bringing her with me" I assume she forgot to tell mom anyways.

"Right, so where am i taking you then nick?" Vinny makes a slightly sharp turn.

The second Vinny uttered those wordsNick and i's heads whipped right into a panicked eye contact.

"Uhm.." Nick hesitated.

"Oh yeah- I meant to ask.. what are you doing out here during winter break anyways? You coming to stay with me? I really need to go grocery shopping man." Vinny rambled on a little
