For some reason I really like writing these future chapters They're so much more fun than POVs, because I can't write anymore of those without giving away too much... And I'm pretty sure that you're confused about the previous chapter, so, to clarify some things, you should read Drale by my awesome co-writer, dralegirl!!! (Sofia, for those of you who know us in real life, and who get the "completely original" username) :D
Somehow, I managed to fall asleep. I don't know how, exactly, because I should have been trying to either escape or at least contact Hawk or Jey. It just kinda happened. Maybe that traitor had slipped something in my water, or maybe the dragon's spirit called to me. I still don't know.
I was floating above my body, like the bird I truly was had decided to finally take flight. I looked down at my sleeping form and saw how peaceful I looked. I never looked like that when I was awake.
Then I was moving. I went out of my room and through the corridor. All the way above ground. Everything looked the same inside. White walls, white floors, white light. Black wolves. And everything looked the same outside. Black building, black earth, black trees. White moon.
Then I found myself zooming across the ocean. I saw a grey fluke from a lone dolphin, and the bright purple tail of a mer right beside it.
I floated so far I came to another land. Then I was underground again, in a huge hall, filled with creatures I had only heard about in Faerie tales. Goblins, ogres, Darke satyrs, griffins, phoenixes, and other, worse creatures that I would care not to name.
But the ones that struck me most were the dragons. They were the most amazing beings I had ever seen. I can't even describe them. But while they were so amazing, they felt, wrong. They were Darke creatures, and I somehow knew, instinctively, that they shouldn't be like that. They were twisted.
I saw a raised platform at the end of the large hall. On it were two dragons. One pure, jet black, and another blood red. The black one spoke, he was obviously the one in charge, and the entire room quieted. I found that even I could no longer speak.
I glanced toward the entryway and saw another spirit-like figure like myself, but he was a dragon, forest green, with gold horns. He didn't have the wrongness about him like the others in the room. I felt a sudden desire to run up to him and look into his eyes, but I couldn't, as I had no control of my spirit, and my side of reason told me that would not be a good idea.
A breeze wafted into the hall, pushing me into the shadows. He would not see me now.
The black dragon on the platform then began to speak. "It is a great honor to be here with you, my Darke followers." he scanned his eyes across the room, and I was afraid he would spot me, but he just continued talking. "I have come to enslave the One of Five, and I have succeeded! Now, with him in my clutches, I can do anything. Once I have converted him, we will be indestructible! We will be able to control the proud country of Dragnos, and with the One of Five and Lord Vulcan at my side, I will lead Darkenesse into battle against our greatest enemies, the Fae!"
I stifled a gasp of surprise. Then I felt anger. Burning anger. No one could just come out and say that. I don't care who they think they are. The Fae will fight. And we will win. Even if this was just a dream orchestrated by Macavellian, we would win.
"We will grow and strengthen our army until we are undefeatable, then we will fly across the ocean to concur Asterie, and spread our might across the world. As the greatest sorcerer in history, I, Monorac Degalas, swear to you that I will do everything in my power to help the Darke community and concur Dragnos with you. Thank you."
The spell for quiet was released and he bowed off the stage, the red dragon right behind him.
I looked over at the green dragon in the doorway. I assumed he was the One of Five, based on how he had reacted to Monorac's words. I wish I knew his name. It would make me feel so much better to just know his name.
He was watching a fight over in a corner between some goblins and a dragon. Then he was gone. I don't know if some swift breeze swept him away or if his dream just ended, but then my vision went black, and I knew I had faded as well.
