Lando had a little time before his next race so we took a little trip to NYC. I always wanted to go there but with my family situation there was never a possibility. Kaia was still with Charles, she had a really good time. I hope she already told him about Oakley. I came back to reality when something grabbed my hand. It was Lando, we were dating for almost a 2 weeks now. It was hard, he was most of the time traveling with the other drivers and I was studying. We face timed a lot but it was still different.
"Issy, are you alright?" Lando asked. I nodded but I was really tired from all the traveling. "Can we go to the hotel maybe? I feel really exhausted." I said polite. Lando looked at me and nodded. I squeezed his hand softly as a 'thank you'. As we walked to the hotel I saw a girl with a familiar posture and face. "Oh my god! Chris?" I blurted out. The girl looked around and saw me. I let go of Lando's hand and ran to Chrissy. "What are you doing here?" She said. "Just visiting for a couple days. What about you?!" "I live here for 2 months now!" "That's so fun! I didn't know you left London?" She nodded. "London became boring, and my boyfriend lives here, and I also needed to get away from my ex boyfr-" She stopped when she wanted to say boyfriend. I didn't know she had an ex and a boyfriend. She looked over my shoulder to Lando. Her face was shocked when she saw him behind me. I looked over to Lando who had also a slight shock on his face. I was confused. "Do you know each other or something?" I asked to break the silence. Nobody replied. Chrissy let go of me and walked towards Lando and pulled him in a hug. Now I was even more confused. What the fuck and why the fuck is she hugging MY boyfriend?
CHRISSY'S POV
"Oh my god! Chris?" Someone blurted. I turned around and saw Isla, there was the one and only Isla. Why did SHE had to be here, I never liked her. She was holding someone's hand but I didn't feel the urge to look who's. I placed a cheeky fake smile and gave her a hug. I needed to pretend I liked her. I liked her in the past for 5 months, but then I got a boyfriend and I didn't want to tell her because she was always judgy. "What are you doing here?" I asked her. She was apparently visiting NYC. She asked me the same question. "I live here 2 months now!" I said with a fake smile. "That's so fun! I didn't know you left London?" I nodded at her question. She didn't had to know I moved because of her. "London was boring, and my boyfriend lives her, and I also needed to get away from my ex boyfr-" I stopped because when I looked over her shoulder I saw my ex-boyfriend right behind her. What the fuck was he doing here, with fucking Isla? He broke up with me because I wasn't loving him enough. I loved him, like really loved him, and after 2 months he had someone new? I also had a boyfriend but that was different. I let go of her and walked to Lando and gave him a hug. There was my boy, right in front of me. The boy I love the most.
ISLA'S POV
"Lannie?" She said. "Is it really the famous Lando Norris? He hugged her back, WHY? I wasn't jealous, right? "Hey Chris, how are you doing?" She gave a thumbs up and looked at him, how I looked at him. Woah wait a second, I'm his girlfriend and she looks the same at him like I do? That cannot be happening. Chrissy and Lando began to talk and I quickly searched for my phone.
