Severus looked up as Draco came in. Adalynn behind him. But what shocked him was Olivia passed out in Draco's arms. "What happened?" He asked.

"I don't know. One minute we were talking. The next she was screaming and passed out. Blood was coming out of her nose and ears," Draco said. He was panicking.

Adalynn looked to Severus. "Do you think it's that?"

"It could be."

Draco looked between them both. "What? What is it?" He asked. He needed to know.

Adalynn looked to him as Severus took Olivia. She sighed. "It's a curse. One he put on her. She needs his blood. Or she could die. And given what has happened, I don't think he will give us his blood," she said.

Draco paled. He looked to Olivia as she laid lifeless on the bed. He walked over and took her hand. "You're going to be okay Liv. I'm going to fix this somehow. I'm not going to lose you. I promise," he whispered.

Severus turned to look at Adalynn. "She's your daughter. You should be there with her too."

"No. I'm going to do the one thing I can do. Be her mum. And I'm going to save her," Adalynn told him. She grabbed her cloak and sighed. "Stay with them. Please."

Severus nodded. He had no idea what was going to happen in the next few hours. He just wanted Olivia to be okay.

Severus walked over to Draco. He sighed. "You should go get some rest. I will stay by her side," he told him.

Draco shook his head. "No. I'm not leaving her. She wouldn't leave me so I'm not going to leave her," he said.

Severus sat with him and sighed. He knew how Draco felt about Olivia. It was the same way he had felt about Adalynn. But now they were friends. And that's all they could be.

Adalynn walked back into the manor. Voldemort looked to her. "Ah it's the dear mother of my daughter. What can I do for you?" He asked.

"I know what you did. To my child. You know I'm here for your blood. And you're going to give it to me. Or I will tell the whole world you're hiding out here," Adalynn said.

Voldemort smirked. "Oh yes. The lovely curse I lovingly placed on our daughter. Such a shame. I rather enjoyed being her father."

Adalynn scoffed. She rolled her eyes. "You won't let her die. You love using her as a pawn. So you won't let her die."

"How bold of you to assume that I won't let her die. You presume to think she means something to me? She is just here purely because I need an heir. But once she has gone, I can always find someone to make me a father again."

Adalynn shook her head. "What do you want? I will do anything," she told him.

"Anything?"

Draco looked up as Remus Lupin walked in. He frowned. "Professor, can I help you?" He asked.

Remus shook his head. "No. I'm here for business. Do you know where Madam Pomfrey is?"

"She's looking for something to help Olivia. She needs her father's blood. Or she'll die," Draco told him as he held her hand.

Remus nodded and smiled. "My thoughts are with you."

Draco sat and held Olivia's hand. "It's okay if you want to go Liv. You're so brave and so strong. I don't want you to leave. But if you're in pain, then go," he said.

Tears poured down his cheeks. But was Olivia going to be saved in time?
