TW: Mentions of Panic Attacks, SA, and Stress

Chris POV:
I feel so bad for Ava she has been through a lot in the last couple of weeks. On October 31st she was SA and it is starting to take a toll on her. This is not her first time which makes the situation worse. She came to school one day a few weeks after the incident and was about to start some of her work with one of got stressed out. Her "Mother" who isn't really her which is one of her teachers from last year knows about the first time it happened. Ava goes to that teacher for everything. Ava said she is that mother figure that her real mom isn't for her. Ava went to that teacher and broke down. Her teacher helped her and got her settled.

Today is Monday which means that we have school again. We are both Seniors. Ava was going to meet me at school. Sometimes she comes and picks me up, but I told her not to stress and just meet me at school. Matt, Nic, and I are all in the car and we are headed to school. We pulled up next to Ava's car. "Hey Chris go check on Ava she looks like she is crying." Matt said while looking at Ava in her car. I looked up immediately and saw that she was in fact crying. "Okay I'll see you guys in class." I said before getting out of the car. I walk over to her side of the car and gently knock on the door. She looks up at me. My heart just feels sad. I hear the doors unlock. I open the car door and immediately check up on her.

Ava has a ADHD and a little bit of Sensory issues. Her sensory issues cause her to not like certain sounds and textures. This is can also lead to sensory overloads. The lights can be too bright, everything is too loud, and she doesn't want to be touched. I completely understand and give her time to calm down. "Ava baby its me Chris." I say in a quiet tone. "Can I give you a hug?" I ask her. "Slowly and carefully please." She says quietly. I slowly hug her and I try not to make any sudden movements. "There we go. It's okay I'm right here. Take your time." I said. About five minutes have passed and she has calmed down a lot, she is just sniffling. "Do you want to tell me what happened?" I asked her. "I got stressed out again thinking about the situation. And all of  a sudden I started having flashbacks from both times which threw me into panic." She said. "Okay well I wish I could have been there, but I'm here now." I said feeling upset because I wasn't able to help her.

She said that she was going to talk to her mom (her teacher) and then she would see me next period. Thankfully we got to school early, so I wasn't late. I walked into class and 1st period is pretty easy so it went by fast. I walked to my next period and saw Ava sitting at her desk. "Hey baby." I said. "Hey." She said replied looking tired. "Are you okay?" I asked her. "Yeah, but you know this happens every time I have a panic attack." She said. "Oh yeah your right." "Sit down Chris. Class is about to start." "Okay." The rest of the day went by smoothly. Ava came back to our place and we all went out and got Pizza and Ice cream.
