TW: Mentions of Abuse, Anxiety, and Panic Attacks.

Chris and y/n were at the triplets house and we were in the kitchen. Y/n was reading a book and Chris was on his phone. Matt was in the living room watching TV. Nick had walked into the kitchen. "Hey Nick." Y/n said. "Hey y/n. How are you?" Nick asked. "I'm okay." Y/n responded. "Is that a good okay or a bad okay?" Nick asked. "Um...I don't really want to talk about it." Y/n stated. "Okay. That is perfectly fine." Nick replied.

Y/n POV:
The real truth was that I wasn't okay at all. I was having flashbacks from my childhood. My mom wasn't always a mean person, but she has trauma of her own and she started to take it out on me when I didn't do anything. But, it was really bad when I did do something that I wasn't supposed to do. The triplets know about this and they are really supportive and they help me when I have panic attacks and things like that. I was trying to shake the thought and continue reading, but I couldn't. It was bothering me too much. I do also suffer from anxiety as well which does have an impact on my daily activities.

I don't know if Chris could tell or not, but my breathing started getting faster and I felt myself start panicking. Chris has helped me with a lot of my panic attacks so he knows what to do in these types of situations. I felt myself start to worry. I knew I was about to have a panic attack.

Chris' POV:
After Nick had asked y/n how she was doing and then y/n responded with okay and then Nick wanted to see if she meant a good okay or a bad okay and she said that she didn't want to talk about it, I knew to be on alert. And I was. I was watching her body language and she started to squirm and mess with the pages on her book. She also started messing with her necklace. These were all signs to me that she was about to have a panic attack.

Third Person POV:
Y/n didn't know if she should ask for help or just try and calm herself down. Well, she tried to calm herself down which only made the situation worse. Next things you know she was clinging onto Chris and saying "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" over and over again while crying. Chris knew she was panicking and that he needed to help. He immediately hugged her and just sat there rubbing her back and telling her that it was going to be okay. Y/n didn't stop panicking though. This let Chris know that he needed to bring her to a smaller space and help her. Chris picked y/n up and brought her to the bathroom. He sat her down on the floor in front of him and he put his back against the wall.

"Y/n. Y/n baby listen to me." Chris said in a soft tone. "Follow my breathing. Deep breath in. *inhale* *exhale* Deep breath out. Y/n did what Chris said and calmed down. "Okay. Can you tell me what happened?" Chris asked politely. "I- I had a flashback." Y/n said. "Okay. Are you okay now?" Chris asked. "Yes, but can we please just go to the living room and relax?" Y/n asked Chris. "Yes we can." Chris said before helping Y/n stand up.

They walked to the living room and sat down on the couch. They turned on a movie and had a great rest of their day.
