Y/n POV:
I was walking into my English class. My last period of the day. Now don't get me wrong, I love English. It's easy. But, the only problem is my classmate Chris. He is always messing with me and mean mugging me. Now I could care less about what someone thinks about me, but something about him was just different. I did give him the same energy back though. But, there was still something about Chris that was just different. Maybe it was the way his hair perfectly flowed, or the way his gorgeous blue eyes looked, or maybe even his personality. He was so handsome, but so mean.
Chris' POV:
Here I was walking into English class again. I don't really like English. But, there is one thing that I can look forward to when I go in that class actually. It's y/n. She is so pretty. I think she is just the most amazing girl that I have ever seen in my whole life. Her eyes, her smile, her hair and the way it perfectly falls on her back, her personality is so different than any other girl that I have ever met. She is just amazing. The only problem is that I like her so much to the point to where I tease her and I am mean to her. I want to let her know that I like her, but I don't know is she feels the same.
Third Person POV:
"Okay class listen up. You all have a project that is coming up. I will be partnering you up into pairs." The teacher stated. 'Please don't pair me up with Chris.' Y/n thought to herself. The teacher started to call out the names of the partners and then she got to y/n name. "Y/n y/l/n and Chris Sturniolo." The teacher said. 'No way. Of course.' Y/n thought to herself. The teacher finished calling out the partners and she said pair up and start working.
Y/n POV:
I should have known that this was going to happen. At least I am good at this so this shouldn't be too hard. I got out of my seat and then I walked over to Chris' desk. "Okay so we have to work on the project toget-" I said before Chris cut me off. "I know." Chris said. "Okay well do you have plans after school today?" I asked him. "No." He responded. "Alright. We can meet up at Starbucks and start working." I said. "Okay sounds cool, but what time?" Chris asked. "3:00pm." I replied. "Okay see you then." Chris said. 'Why was he being so nice?' I thought to myself.
Chris' POV:
Okay so this should go pretty well... right? I mean I know I like her, but I don't know if she likes me, but that is not the point. We need to start the project first and then move on to other things. I was at home in the mirror trying to make sure I looked good. "Why am I stressing so much?" I said. "This isn't even a date." I said. I threw on some black sweatpants and a black sweatshirt and my Air Forces. Matt drove me to the Starbucks and then I walked inside.
Y/n POV:
I was waiting inside of the Starbucks. I had got there early, but why was I so nervous? Wait do I like Chris? I like Chris! Oh my goodness! I like Chris! Okay I need to calm down. I know I like Chris, but we have a project that we need to focus on first. I saw Chris walking inside. He looked around and I waved to show him where we were sitting. "Hi loser." Chris greeted me. "Um that is not how you speak to me, let alone anyone." I said. "Oh excuse me my lady." Chris said while taking a bow. "Oh my gosh you do too much." I said.
Third Person POV:
Chris and Y/n were working on the presentation and they were both being very productive. They weren't really talking to each other. The only time they talked to each other was either when they had a question or a suggestion. They finished a good amount of the project before they decided that they could continue working tomorrow.
Y/n POV:
Chris and I had finished a good portion of the project and then we decided that was enough work for one day. I was getting kind of thirsty and a little hungry, but just for a snack. "Hey I'm kind of thirsty and a little hungry, but just for a snack. Do you want to come and order something?" I asked him. "Sure." He said while side eying me. "Do you need something?" I asked him. "Not the attitude." He responded. We walked up to the counter and ordered our things. I pulled out my card to pay, but then Chris stopped me. "Don't worry I got it." Chris said and then he paid for our things. "Oh okay thank you." I said while blushing a little. "Are you blushing?" Chris asked me. "Nope." I replied quickly before grabbing my things and saying, "See you tomorrow." And walking out.
Chris' POV:
I don't know if I scared her off or if I made her feel good, but I hope I made her feel good. She blushed really hard when I paid for the food. I'm not fully sure, but I think I'm right. I get home and before I go to sleep y/n is on my mind. Oh goodness. Now I am thinking about her before I go to sleep. Really?
Time Skip to the next day:
Y/n woke up feeling ready to go to school. But, not just for school... she was ready for English class. She wanted to see Chris. But, every time she thought about telling him she liked him, she second guessed herself. She arrived to school and it felt like the day was going by so slow. All she wanted to do was go to English class, especially because they were just going to be working on the project which meant more time with Chris. Finally, English class came and y/n was beyond happy, but little did she know Chris was feeling the exact same way.
