Sans's P.O.V.

I can't believe it! I'm finally a part of the Royal Guard! All of my dreams are coming true! I must prove to Alphys that I am the most magnificent Royal Guard in all of history!

Papyrus and Da-his dad are so proud of me. I'm so ready for tomorrow to come! I'm full of energy right now, jumping and running around the house. Papyrus, the lazybones he is, can't keep up with me.

Maybe Alphys will be my best friend, after Papyrus, of course.

Time skip: The next day

My very first training is today! I can hardly wait. Papyrus is struggling to keep up with me. I race through breakfast and lunch, with too much energy in me to contain.

Finally, the time comes. Three o'clock. I run straight out of the front door holding Papyrus's hand. I accidentally let go, and he falls onto the snow. We, and his dad, burst out laughing. He isn't hurt, thankfully.

Alphys is standing outside by a training dummy when we arrive. Papyrus's dad says he will be back at four and leaves me and Papyrus with Alphys.

"Alright, punk!" I flinch. She sounds just like those little bra- kids from a couple of days ago. Papyrus's leg is doing better than two days ago but isn't completely healed. As usual, breaks take a while to heal.

She notices and looks at Papyrus. Papyrus catches on. "so, what's happening first?"

"We're going to see what kinds of magic you have. I would suspect you have bone magic, considering you're a skeleton."

"THAT'S BECAUSE I DO!" I exclaim. She smiles.

"Alright then! Let's see it!" I proceeded to show her some of the attacks I had been working on by myself. I had shown them to Papyrus, and he thought they were cool. "Sans, are you sure you haven't had any training?"

"I MEAN, NOT PROFESSIONALLY." Alphys nods and lets me continue. Most of my attacks are pretty basic in comparison to other monsters, but they're better than some.

"AND FOR MY VERY LAST ATTACK!" I turn to Alphys and turn her soul blue. "YOU'RE BLUE NOW! THAT'S MY SPECIAL ATTACK!"

"Wow- this is-" she said, struggling to stand- "unlike anything I've seen."

"GRAVITY MANIPULATION!" I exclaim.

"yeah. me and dadster can do it too," Papyrus interjects.

"Huh, really? Fuhuhu! That's quite interesting," Alphys replies. Papyrus gives a small smile and my eyes start glowing brighter than they already are.

"bro, i've never seen your eyes that bright before." I put my hand in front of my face and it is completely blue.

"WOWZERS! I GUESS I'VE BROKEN MY RECORD!"

"You keep track of this stuff?" Alphys asks. Papyrus and I nod. "Hah, okay."

"Now, next order of business. To be able to protect yourself, which I know you can, you need to know how to block and dodge attacks. Try a simple punch. If you get hit, I have some candy here." She throws a punch and I just barely slide out of the way. "Impressive."

She tries to punch me again, and I block her with a bone wall. "Nice job, kid! You've got some real potential!"

    "THANK YOU, MA'AM!"

Just then, we heard someone approaching. It was Papyrus's dad. "Hello there, Sans and Papyrus. How'd it go?"

"IT WAS GREAT, DAD! I-" I slap my hand over my mouth. "I-I'M SORRY, I JUST-"

He just laughed. "You can call me whatever you wish, Sans." Alphys and Papyrus smile.

We say goodbye and start walking off to Snowdin. I talk about how Alphys was impressed with me and my magic.
