Together, Fitz and I walked through the door. We appeared in a large library with soft plush sofas and wooden tables. The walls lined with shelves of books. More shelves stood in the center, looking like a maze. In each corner was a computer-like device to search up books.

We stared in awe. I've never seen a library this large! It's even bigger than the biggest library I've ever seen!

As we walked to the center of the library, we came across a dark wooden table. On it was a turquoise necklace. I reached out to touch it.

The moment my hand touched the smooth stone, my vision blurred. The inside of my right wrist burns and I also heard Fitz hiss. When my vision cleared, the most elegant looking mark of an alicorn faded on the inside of my wrist.

I touched it gingerly. The mark suddenly appeared, then dissipated when I pulled back, surprised.

"Huh." I had completely forgot about Fitz, who was sitting on a sofa, looking at his wrist. I walked over to him and saw a magnificent green dragon etched on it.

"What is this?" He glanced at my alicorn. He carefully reached out and touched my wrist, and I blushed.

"I don't know..." I touched it and signed. What the heck...

Fitz jumped. "Did you just transmit?" I shook my head. "Then how..." His voice drifted. Can you hear me? His voice rang in my mind.

Yeah. Just right actually.

Let me try something.

Suddenly, my head was filled with a mental image of Fitz and I falling down the gap.

Woah.

I think I know what this is. Fitz transmitted. This is like a transmitter.

Yeah, that's cool, but we can already transmit.

Maybe this one has no limit. I can be halfway across the world and you can still hear me.

I smiled. Then I saw a leapmaster.

Look! I pointed. A leapmaster! But it looks old.

Maybe we can come here for secret meetings. Fitz dragged me into the leap master and said, "Everglen!"

The light dragged us away. Just as quick, we appeared before the gates of Fitz's mansion like estate.

Look, don't tell anyone what happened. Not even your dad. I looked around cautiously.

Okay then. Our little secret. I blushed furiously.

Still hand in hand, we walked back to the camp site.
