Cole Bouchard has her secrets under control. There's a new girl coming into the office now, filling JJ's maternity leave, and so all eyes are on someone else for a change. She hasn't had a meltdown in months now, and the sight of corpses, while unpleasant, is not as torturous as it was previously.
It was a mistake to think her relationship with a Wonder Boy co-worker would also stay hidden. Now with more secrets than ever before, Cole can feel the sharks circling in. It's fine. Not good, but fine. She's done this before.
Well, she hasn't been this involved with someone in years. With a stack of secrets thicker than a deck of cards he'd use in a magic trick, Cole isn't ready to show her hand. When one more secret gets added into the mix, things start to fall apart.
