Starting off with Devin. Since he was the one the first story was based on, he was the first I drew. His design seems pretty obvious. I chose lionfish because I love lionfish, and their color scheme matches.
Second, I drew Lucas.

I wanted him to be a shark, and decided on a hammerhead for reasons I can't remember. His markings are tattoos, and the gems are inlaid in his hands.
After these two, I ended up drawing Flurry and Juno due to working on the second part at that time.

These twos designs seem fairly obvious, color wise and such. They're both human, but Juno does have a collection of merfolk artifacts.
