Being paralyzed is a lot harder than I thought it would be. It took about 30 min to get in the car. But then we were on our way. My stomach had butterflies .I didn't know what I was going to say

I'm just gonna walk in there and be like "hey sorry for your loss will u forgive me?" Yeah like that's gonna work. I have no clue what to do.

We got to Dakota's. She has a broken neck and arm. We walked up to her door well besides me. U know what I mean. Her mom opened the door.

She was wearing a long robe with her hair pulled back in a messy bun. She had a tired look on her face and a stern expression.

"Yes?" She asked.

"Hi. Um I was wondering if Dakota was allowed....." I stumbled before her cutting me off.

"No visitors today, sorry" and slammed the door in our face.

"Well that wasn't very nice" my mom said.

"She must just been stressed" my dad said.

"I guess" I mumbled.

We got back in the car and drove over to Maddie's house. I was hoping for a better reaction. We got to her door (which took 10 min) I knocked. Her dad opened the door.

This time his eyes were teary. He also looked tired. But he had a smile when he first saw me.

"Oh I'm so happy to see you, she has been asking for you." he said. "Come in, come in, please"

My parents had to lift my wheel chair up before going inside. I rolled into Maddie's room. I looked and her. I looked at her broken arm and leg. Then she looked at me. A smile spread across her face.

" Citlalli, I'm so glad your here. how r u and what happened?"

So I explained what happened. Who was hurt and wear. But then I told her about Bobbie and she started bawling.

"Wait she is dead?!" She screamed.

"Wait I thought u knew already knew?" I asked.

I turned around. Her mother was standing there.

"YOU DIDNT TELL HER?!" I said louder than I meant to.

"Just found out we were going to tell her but then u came and we thought she better hear it from u instead of us." her mom said.

I turned back to Maddie and she was crying. I lifted myself up on her bed and gave her a big hug. Her mom left us to our sorrowing.
