CC was nothing but a lonely scyther in the woods, hunting down her prey and hiding from her predators, looking for places to stay safely and hiding from trainers who may come her way.
there was nothing particularly special about this scyther, she had lived her life like any other Pokémon in that forest.

one day however, CC began to grow sick of the cycle. she wanted something interesting, a safe place for Pokémon to stay without worry of trainers or Pokémon professors. as a response to these needs, she took on the task of creating a Pokémon tribe for grass and bug types alike. treecko, sunkern and even roselia would roam the tribe once it was complete. CC worked day and night to create the tribe with wool from mareep, sticks from the trees, leafs from the nearby prey and grass from the dirt. as she worked day and night while keeping her guard up from predators, she had finally made a small, hidden area that she and other Pokémon could keep safe in. as the night passed and the day came, she was woken up by a loud thud on the grassy surface, she shot up and looked to see what had threatened her, as she was met with a small treecko with a big stick, taken from a nearby tree. the treecko was fascinated by the newly made home CC had created, and was willing to help CC create a bigger tribe for the safety of other Pokémon alike.

CC considers the treecko's request, after all, he was rather brave for approaching the scyther in the first place. if she really felt threatened, she could handle it herself.

after a few thoughtful seconds, CC ultimately decided it would be best to accept his help.

after CC decided to accept his help, she learns the treecko was never given a name. he had never considered it being important since he never knew any other Pokémon. after analyzing his appearance and personality, she had decided a good, temporary name for him would be "Patches", considering the stitched on squares of fabric on his cape. patches was happy with this name, and had introduced himself as "patches" ever since the moment they shared.

day by day, patches and CC had expanded the tribe and found new members on their hunts for materials. within a few weeks, the tribe had looked lively and free. many grass and bug Pokémon had roamed the areas of the tribe, their food had been often stocked with oran berries and rawst berries, and patches and CC were proud of the community they had made.

on one of patches' hunts for new tribe members, patches had come across a team of weedle and caterpie. realizing he had spent so much time gathering material instead of gaining EXP, he decided to take a chance and attack the team of bugs. as he hopped on trees and threw leaf blades at the bugs, they attacked him back with webs and poison. he dodged as much as he could, but inevitably was hit quite badly. in the end however, he won the fight. he had gained EXP and gone from level to level, eventually pausing around level 13. although he needed slightly more in order to evolve, he was content with the current state, and decided it would be enough for the moment.
he continued his search for new members.

while patches wandered the forest, he began to become weaker and weaker due to the poison he had endured from the fight. he slowed down in his track, and held onto his arm where the wound was, limping. as he reached near a large tree, he sat down. he softly panted  as he caught his breath, he slowly closed his eyes as he faded from consciousness.

rustling could be heard nearby, as it began getting closer and closer to the tree, a light, young treecko could be seen. as the treecko approached patches, she noticed the light purple marking on his arm and pale face. the treecko lightly held patches' hand, waking him up from his small energy nap. barely conscious, patches had no sense of security and decided to just let the treecko carry him to whatever she considered safety. as she roamed the forest, she came across the tribe CC and patches had created. unknowingly, she walked into the tribe and requested help of the sunkern and seedot. CC had seen a new face in the area, and approached them apon seeing patches almost entirely unconscious on the strangers shoulder. CC had gone as fast as she could and picked up patches, rushing to the food supplies to find a pecha berry or an oran berry. once patches was fed and taken care of, CC approached the wild treecko once again. asking for her name, the treecko replied, hesitantly, "..my name?.... i haven't really considered it much....." she looked around her surroundings, searching for inspiration.
"i suppose you can just call me Mel."
CC is content with the information, and requests for mel to join the tribe, in response, mel pauses for a moment. she considered everything she had outside of her new encounters with patches and CC, but ultimately decided it wasn't worth staying in the wild. she accepted CC's request to join, and from then on was a huge help in her new home. she would often search for materials with patches and encouraged wild, hurt pokemon to follow her to the tribe.

months, years have passed. after a long while of training, patches and mel have reached close to their full potential along with the rest of the tribe. sceptile, sunflora, beedrill, butterfree and breloom now roam the tribe while keeping stocks in high, and new members safe. patches and mel had found a liking to each other, and CC had been out in the forest exploring for new items and berries to bring back to the tribe for the new and old population. on her wanders however, CC comes across a metal coat in the ground, really snug into the dirt. she picked up the coat and examined it for a moment, before seeing it glow in a white light. before she even noticed,  CC began to glow along with it. as she felt her form change, she tried to let go of the coat, only to realize there was nothing in her scythes anymore. not long after, she noticed the glowing had stopped. her scythes were replaced by claws, and her original bug skin had been replaced by a tough, red metal. it didn't take her long to process what had happened to her, now like the rest of her tribe, she had fully evolved into her full potential. she continued on her search for materials and returned to the tribe before dark, placing the berries and sticks in their rightful placing and going to find patches to inform him of the news. patches and mel were overjoyed, and the next morning CC announced the news to the rest of the tribe.

years later

it had been days since CC had been seen last in the tribe. patches grew worried. although CC was independent and strong, it wasn't like she was immortal. patches and mel had asked around, trying to figure out what occurred to create CCs
sudden disappearance, yet no one could figure out a reasonable conclusion. patches wanted to run after CCs tracks, somewhere in the forest he knew she rested, yet mel was heavily against the idea. CCs disappearance could have meant there was some kind of danger in the forest, if CC couldn't handle it, patches had no chance.

ultimately, patches decided to give up on the search and continue his life as the new owner of the tribe. he ran the tribe just as before, with a breloom, espio, as his second in lead.
