jeongin lightly smiles at his favorite ex, opening his arms for a gentle hug. "it's nice to see you again, y/n." he speaks as she hugged him back nonetheless; her current boyfriend had no clue they dated, he didn't even know jeongin personally.
"it's nice to see you too." she says, growing nervous as she pulled away, looking up to notice how he towered over her.
jeongin smiles at the amused look on her face. "where's your boyfriend?" he asked her. y/n took it the wrong way. "bye jeongin." y/n says to him, already annoyed.
"no i'm not trya be funny, come here." jeongin reached out and grabbed her wrist gently, lightly pulling her back before she got a chance to walk off further. "i genuinely wanna meet him," he says, his hand letting go of her wrist.
y/n crossed her arms over her chest, this whole thing was giving phony. "i'm serious, you can stop looking at me like that." he tells her, also crossing his arms over his chest.
they were so alike.
"no you're not meeting him, go find seungmin and leave me alone." y/n says, growing annoyed.
jeongin raised his eyebrow, "what's your fucking problem, hm? everytime i see you, there's a fucking attitude that shit blows—"
"jeongin get the fuck out of my face, i don't care."
the two went back and forth for a good 5 minutes before seungmin walks up to them, giving y/n a small smile before grabbing jeongin by his shirt.
"stop trya go back and forth with her she's gonna swing off you." seungmin says, and jeongin knew he was right. "she's mad at me because i asked to meet her boyfriend, do you hear how dumb that sounds?" he looked at her, making her roll her eyes at him.
"why would she introduce her ex boyfriend to her new boyfriend?" seungmin says, confused. "that's doesn't matter, and it's not his business." jeongin said, looking at y/n.
"bro i can't y'all need to figure this out, y'all not even together and y'all still toxic. doesn't make any sense to me." seungmin said getting frustrated. "y'all figure it out i need a fucking drink." he says before walking away.
y/n looked up at him, not knowing what to say to him anymore. "why can't you just move on?" she asks him. "why can't you just come back home, hm? you and your lil rebound were cute for the time being. but it's really time for you to come back because i miss-"
"hey baby, who's this?" a voice cuts him off, jeongin locked eyes with her new boyfriend, he wasn't ugly but nor was he good looking.
"hey bae this is jeongin, me and him went to school together. jeongin this is my boyfriend." y/n introduced them, trying to get rid of the awkwardness in the air that started to surround them.
