Chapter 8- Changes

Okay I am so sorry I made you guys wait so so long. I will try to update between my summer school stuffs and vacations. And no I did not fail a class and have to redo it I missed most of the semester because of an injury and dropped out of that class.

Eggsys POV

I have to decide who to recruit for my candidate for Pendragon's position. I have an idea but I don't know if she will agree. I sure hope she will. I made my way to the edge of the part of town I grew up in. That's where the bakery she works in is. I opened the door and the smell of fresh bread overtook me. It smells so good. But what I saw in front of me was worrying. I saw Everleigh and Roxy in line waiting to order their food. But what perturbed me even more was the fact there was a man with them. One I did not know. As they reached the front I heard Eadlyn say "hey Ev, Roxy and Jack what can I get for you?" So his name is Jack. I see, very American. They ordered and then went to go sit down. Once it was my turn I ordered and asked Eadlyn when she had a break or was off. She told me she could meet in a couple hours. I told her where to meet and then decided to go sit with my sister.

"Hey Ev can I sit with you guys?" I asked her.

"Of course!" She replied

"So whose this?" I asked pointing to Jack.

"Oh I forgot I never introduced you two. This is Jack Meier. We have been dating for 2 years." She said

I stared at them awestruck. "So you conveniently left this out when you reunited with your TWIN BROTHER after 7 years."

"I'm sorry Eggsy. I really am! I was just so caught up in seeing you." She said.

"It's okay. I'm just a little surprised. So Jack what do you do for a job?"

" Well I am also from the American division of the agency. I heard her singing in the halls one day and I had to go see who has such a beautiful voice so I followed the voice till I found her and then we got to know each other. We found we had so much in common. Then a month later I asked her out and we have been dating ever since." He informed me.

"Wow." I said.

"Yeah. That was my reaction too Eggsy. Now why don't we leave the lovebirds alone for a little bit and head back home." Rox said.

"Sounds great." I said.

Everleigh's POV

After Eggsy and Roxy left Jack asked me to go on a walk with him through town. He asked if I knew any good parks around. We decided to make our way to Hyde Park.we walked through the park for awhile till we found a cute little pond with a bench. (I don't know what's in Hyde park. I am writing this in the car and don't really want to google it. I'm sorry) When we sat down I heard some rustling in the bushes and then a very loud boom. Jack and I were both pushed back by the force. I blacked out not long after hitting the ground. The last thing I remember was screaming Jack's name.
