*Steve's POV*
*June 16th*
*Steve's house 10:03 am*
I put her bags into the trunk and see a blue car pull up. My uncle gets out and I dap him up.
"Hey Nephew! How you been?"
"I been doing good what about you?"
"Just fine but I'm happy because I'm here!"
"Alright James and Steve! I'll see you guys on Sunday."
My mom says.
"Bye mom!"
We wave goodbye and soon we walk into the house. He hugs both my sisters and soon they run upstairs to go play.
"So do you have a girlfriend?"
"Nah I think I'll focus on school."
"I wish I had that mind set. I barely got my education and I'm lucky to have a good job."
"Where do you work?"
"I'm a carpenter."
"How much money do you make?"
"How much you think I make a year?"
"Maybe 20,000."
"Now probably when I pay the government and taxes all that dumb shit."
"What's it without that?"
"About 48 thousand a year."
"Damn!"
"It sounds nice but since I have to pay and give up shit then its only about 20 thousand."
"Thats bullshit."
"Does your mom let you cuss like this?"
"Just a little."
"Whatever. Pass me the remote please."
I give him the remote.
"I'll be with my friends! I'll be back in 2 hours."
"Casually 2 hours? Alright then make sure you call and check in."
"I will."
I go outside and get on my bike. I ride down to Luke's house. His dad isn't coming back until tomorrow night. Tyler said he would bring the food and everyone else could bring plates and drinks. Which I have to get the plates. I get down to the store and buy three 30 packs of paper plates before heading to Luke's house.
"Hey Steve! You got those plates?"
"Yup!"
"I think that's all we need... Yeah that's it."
I hand him the plates before walking inside the house.
"Don't be mad but I can't stay long."
"Why not?"
"My mom is out of town, and I have to be at home by 8."
"Just sneak out."
"You can say it, but you can't do it Luke."
"True... Come on please!"
"I'll see what I can do."
"Yes! Thank you."
"If I get caught you owe me 20 dollars."
"Fine."
*7:10 pm*
The small gathering is in full swing. Tyler then gets everyone together and brings a cooler in the house.
"Now Brent and Chloe will be able to do this soon and they probably have but... You guys ever drink before?"
