Padma rolls her eyes as she serves herself some extra jelly, "I know right,"
"Don't judge me, you weren't there," Love grumbles shooting her friends a quick glare, Padma somehow managed to drag her out of the comfort of her bed and back into the common room when it was time for the Halloween feast and repeat everything back at Emmanuel.
"As far as this situation goes my question is why?" Emmanuel asks, finally looking at Love with a frown on his face.
Love turns to Emma, her own frown deepening. "What do you mean why? I told you my reason for–"
"Reason was the last thing on your mind, Love." Emma deadpanned looking at Love tediously.
"Whatever," Love mumbles as she eats a piece of her chocolate cake. Despise her piss-poor mood, the cake was just about one of the best things she had ever eaten. She has half a mind to take the whole cake for herself. "I don't want to speak about it anymore, okay? I want to eat my cake peacefully without my appetite leaving me again."
There was a moment of silence, a moment of that peace Love asked for, a moment where all she could concentrate on was the cake in front of her but that moment did not last long because her friend could not fathom serenity in any way, shape or form.
"So, how was your first date?" Padma asks, licking her spoon clean. "Y'know, besides that part."
Love lets out a breath, she closes her eyes and places her spoon down. "One more word and I swear I'll dash your bed out of our room while you sleep in it."
"Please," Padma scoffs as she sips her juice, "I've heard worse threats from my Ma. That was nothing."
"Padma—"
Padma raises her hands, "Sorry but I am still very much curious about how it went. I mean it all couldn't been all bad, right?"
"She's got a point," Emma said scoping a full spoon of cherry ice cream.
"I mean," Love purses her lips and glances at the yellow and black table, she hasn't spotted Ernie yet. "I guess it wasn't that bad, he was nice and sweet, and he paid for our tea and my sweets..."
"But..." Padma trails off, a knowing look on her face as she expectantly looks at Love.
"But I don't think I will go out with him again, I just... I don't know." Love mumbles, unable to put her feelings into words.
"You simply did not click with him, that's all." Said Padma.
Love shrugs, and her lips tighten. "Yeah... I still feel a bit bad thought."
