Kim's pov

I opened my eyes , I sat up , God I was having a headache , I let out a sigh , I took a painkiller pill and head to the bathroom , perhaps it was because I stayed up too late yesterday , I finished showering and put on my clothes , I head downstairs , hearing some noises coming from the kitchen , I went to checked it out and saw Macau

He seems to be healthy and fit unlike yesterday , I could smell eggs , he was making breakfast , he noticed me

"I made breakfast , you want to have it here or?"

I took a seat without talking as he gave me a plate of hams , eggs , toast with jelly and butter

"Thanks for taking care of me yesterday"

I nodded as I ate in silence

"Aren't you gonna eat?"

I asked as I noticed there were no plate for him as he was washing the dishes

"I already ate , I'm going to visit my brother"

"Want me to drop you?"

"I don't really want to bother you since yesterday you took care of me"

"Not really , it's fine , I can drop you"

"Thank you then"

He gave me a smile , I look down , I continue eating and finished my breakfast , I realised that it was past 10 , I woke up quite late , I finished eating and wash my plate , I saw him taking a bag , was he really going to visit his brother or what? I got curious

"Why're you taking a bag?"

I asked as he looked at me

"I bought some things for them when I went out in the morning , I can't really visit with nothing"

"Why not?"

Isn't normal to just go around your brother's house to visit just to talk?

"Well , I like to do it , I just like to give them things I guess"

I took the car keys as I went to the car and he sat next to me , he put on his seatbelt and so did I , I drove to his Vegas's house but I stopped before his house , Macau looked at me with confusion shown in his face

"Better prevent from getting into fights"

"Oh , thanks for dropping me again"

He got out of the car

"What time should I come and get you?"

I asked , I don't really have anything else to do

"It's fine , I can go by myself"

I nodded , I saw him going to his house , I drove back home , honestly I don't really have anything to do and I don't want to visit Kinn , I went to my room and took my guitar , I sat down , I've been trying to find a song these past days since I have nothing to do

Macau's pov

I saw Kim drove away , I could care less about that , I let out a sigh , yesterday was a real rollercoaster , I wanted him to leave me alone but he didn't leave my side and took care of me well , I don't know why but I smiled at these thoughts , I knocked and the door opened , revealing phi Pete

"Oh Macau!"

My mouth curved into a smile

"Come inside"

I went inside , to the living room

"Vegas went out , he had to handle some things"

"Oh"

"So , how have you been?"

"Good"

I guess? I don't really feel good about it that Kim still likes Porchay , I still can't accept it , I like him but I can't make him like me thought? I thought he could have moved on but that's impossible

"What's wrong Macau?"

"Nothing"

I said quietly

"Such a lie , you know I can you well"

He said with a chuckle

"Sure you do"

I rolled my eyes , I smiled

"Anyway what have you been up to?"

"Nothing much honestly"

I nodded

"Macau I wanna ask you something"

"What?"

"Do you by any chance like Kim?"

"Why would you ask something like that out of nowhere?"

"It's just that I didn't see you complain or anything when you sighed the contract , you seemed kinda happy"

"Can never hide anything from you , can I?"

Pete's lips curved into a smile , it's fascinating , Pete alway knows what I'm thinking and it's just amazing , at the same time , it's nice to share this with someone but my smile faded when I thought of Vegas

"Will Vegas ever accept me for liking Kim?"

I asked as I look down , he will never approved of it

"Maybe , maybe not , it depends on you"

I got clueless to what he was saying , just then I heard the front door opened , it was the footsteps of Vegas , I saw him coming to the living room , I smiled and waved at him

"Macau"

A hint of happiness in his voice could be noticed , I know that Phi never liked Kim , they both have an enmity

"How come you're here? Did that fucking dick do something to you?"

Worriedness showed in his voice , I giggled , he was always overprotective towards

"No , I just wanted to visit you Phi"

He looked at me , mostly analysing me , seeing if I got hurt , I'm used to that expression , he wants to protect me as he knows how Kim was , ruthless and..heartless , I can never think of them ever getting along

"Stay for dinner"

"Sure Phi"

I smiled , I saw Phi's smile but it faded quickly , Phi doesn't like to smile too much but whenever he smiles , it's a genuine smile or else , he's in his fucking psychopath mode and that scares me sometimes , Phi wasn't only strong but a big psychopath , he may have maye stopped getting into fights and all but it doesn't mea that he had stopped everything

There's still some people that want him dead , that want Pete dead and want me dead , Phi doesn't want anything to happen to us , especially his family members which was me and Pete , I decided to stay for dinner since I've got nothing else to do at home , the house of Kim , all he does is to stay in his room , although yesterday was quite shocking , Kim actually took care of me , he was actually genuinely taking care of me

An hour went by and I was eating dinner until I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket , I checked it out , seeing an unknown number? I got curious

-When should I pick you up?

How'd you get my number?

-I will tell you later , just tell me when to pick you up , it's already this late and there's no bus around this time

Was he worried? I rolled my eyes , I doubt so
