China POV

"..To find out that.."

Whispers rang in my ears. "That we're innocent and that we can go home?" North called out, with a sarcastic grin on his face. I turned and look at Russia. Poor thing, he looked nervous, he has a habit of looking guilty for things even if he didn't do anything.

Austria looked at all of us. "You're all descendants of dragons."

At that everyone just stared at Austria like she was crazy. I held my breath, knowing whether or not to laugh.

She picked up a book and held it out to show us diagrams. Not the type of dragons you would see in fairytales, they looked like humans mixed with monster-like features. "Damn," I mutter.

Austria continued, "I've looked at records of your blood, and you guys have a slightly different blood type as well."

"How can you call us "dragons" though?" Germany questioned. "They look more like wolves or monsters-?"

"Well, it doesn't matter. What I'm trying to say is that your "species" has a behavior in it's nature to be againist us normal-"

"We're not abnormal." Russia murmured quietly.

"Yeah!" Japan smiled, throwing a fist in the air.

"WILL YOU ALL LISTEN TO HER?" NATO screeched, making Russia jump. He took a step closer to me, away from NATO.

Austria holds up a black liquid inside a test-tube. "I'm not a scientist but, when one of you "dragons" drink this liquid, it gets absorbed into your blood and hence you turn into your dragon form."

Germany frowned. "Have you tested it? How are you sure?"

"NATO has tested it with dragon blood." Austria looks at NATO, nodding nervously. "But, we want someone to test it." A small smile formed as NATO set his eyes on Russia.

"Well," His smiles widens. "Russia? Would you-"

Germany POV

I saw Russia gulp, having no choice but to agree with NATO. "Okay.." He murmured. There was some sort of rift going on between those two, but it's strange to see Russia not arguing with NATO. But I can tell from the way Russia's glaring at NATO, he does not want to do this.

At all.

Austria handed him the black liquid. Russia looks down at it, staring into the liquid void inside a test tube and looked up again. "D-do I drink it?" NATO escaped a low chuckle, but still audible. "Of course,"

Russia gazed into the liquid again, looking doubtful. "..Ну... прощай мир..." He muttered into the tube, and took a small sip from it.

...

...

...

A sudden white flash struck my eye, and I heard gasps of surprise from the other countries. I squeezed my eyes shut and opened them again.

There, in front of us was a long, slender, black creature, with blue crystal-like spikes along it's spine, just where Russia. It was a haunting beauty of a creature. Glowing blue eyes turned to face me, and a low growl emerged from the dragon. "GERMANY- DISTRACT HIM-!" Austria screeched, her face filled with worry.

An idea struck me, I took off my glasses and waved them near the window, so beams of sunlight were reflecting on the wall.

The dragon's eyes fixed upon the beams, as if it were put on some kind of spell. I felt bad for Russia, he had no idea what was going on, and he probably lost control of how his body acted, since it was in dragon form. I stopped waving them around, but I kept them in place.

"RI-RI-" Japan screamed, and dared to run in front of Russia. He stopped staring at the beams of sunlight, and set his gaze on Japan. "OVER HERE!" She waved her hands about, acting as if the monster was a mere kitten.

It seemed to work though, Russia stopped growling and calmed down. His pupils followed Japan's hands, as if he were staring at a cat toy.

All of the sudden, the same, sudden white flash struck my eyes, forcing me to squeeze my eyes shut for a couple of seconds. When I opened them, all I saw was a confused looking Russia sitting where the dragon was.

Russia POV

I walked into the library, thinking about what happened yesterday. I didn't remember anything that happened except for me sipping the black liquid. I do remember some glimpses of things, like a beam of light, or something, but that's it.

Yesterday's event made me interested. I wanted to see more things about dragons. They slightly interested me, I remember my dad reading stories to me when I was little about them, and when I asked if they were real, all he told me is that if I thought they were real, then they were real.

I heard the door open again, so I turned and looked over my shoulder.

"Oh, Hello Russia! Didn't expect to see you here.." A girl with a maple leaf flag waved to me. I always forgot her name, so in my head, I nicknamed her 'pretty girl'. She was really pretty, even without any makeup and such. Yet she was always alone, even though she was friendly with pretty much anybody. Which is kind of strange, she is America's brother.

"Um-uh-hi-!"

Whewwwwwwwwwww- I'm done! Now you'll notice a lot of different things going here! I hope you like it, and in the comments, who do you think is the murderer?? I'd love to hear your amazing guesses!
