UN's announcement ended, letting silence fill the air. I stood up and fingered the stall's lock, turning it to unlock it

It was like my ears were screaming inside me, echoing in my eardrums, sounding like some sort of creepy laughs in my head. The silence wasn't peaceful anymore, it was a creepy, lifeless silence, with cries ringing in my brain. It was like a spider, that was crawling on a web. It seemed harmless, until you get stuck in one. The spider wraps you in silk, then liquifys the insides, just like when you get panicked, you get trapped.

I squeezed my eyes shut for a second, not wanting to think about panic. It doesn't help that spiders just gross me out. I ran out of the stall and went to the nearest classroom, before someone shut the door. I ignored the second-hand embarrassment I would get after I did.

China almost shut the door on me as I ran in, and he gave me a sheepish grin, before letting me in. I gave him a small smile in response, but it faded away.

China quickly closed the door after I came in, and he gave a quick nod to the teacher, ASEAN. Then he turned to me and grinned again. "Were you skipping?"

"No." I replied, frowning. I looked around China's class. I saw Ukie, Germany.. India.. and some other people I didn't know. I knew Poland and America were in China's class, but they weren't there.

"Russia, what class did you have?" I turned around to face ASEAN. I tilted my head and answered. "I had L.A, with Sir NATO."

ASEAN nodded and picked up his phone, and it seemed like he was letting NATO know that I wasn't missing or anything.

China leaned to my ear, and whispered, "Do you think a murder is happening in our school?" I felt my eyes widening in response, I truly didn't think of that..

"Probably." I muttered.

"I bet NATO thinks it's you, since you're not in his classroom." China smirked and pulled away, I could notice him carefully eyeing my reaction. I just gave him a faint smile and replied. "Probably, he hates me."

ASEAN suddenly started calling out names. "China?"

"Here!" He waved to ASEAN, grinning.

"Germany?"

"Here." He raised his hand slightly, then put it down, and adjusted his glasses.

"Iceland?"

"Here." She mumbled, raising her hand a tiny bit, then putting it down. She looked a lot like Norway, now that I think of it. I barely ever knew she actually existed.

"India?"

She smiled and just raised her hand.

"Norway?"

"Here." The flaps of his hat moving slightly as he answered.

"Poland?"

No answer. China turned to ASEAN and mumbled, "He went to the bathroom earlier, remember?" I turned to look at ASEAN, as he frowned. "Oh God." He said, staring at his attendance list. Then he suddenly picked up his phone and frantically started texting. Looks like he's stuck in the panic web too. Hopefully the spider doesn't eat him away, though..

...

...

He put his phone down and stared at one name for a while, until he called it. "Sri Lanka?"

I have honestly never heard of that name.. so I looked around, seeing who it belonged to. One short girl shyly smiled and just raised her hand. I tilted my head. She probably didn't have that much land, that's why I've never heard her name, and that's why she's short.

"Türkiye?"

"Here." He said, dully. Even though he seemed dull and boring to most, he's pretty nice to me.

"United- I mean America?"

No answer, until Germany muttered, "He was supposed to come in late today, he still hasn't arrived."

ASEAN nodded. "Vietnam?"

"Here!" She waved at ASEAN, giving him a bright smile. She's really sweet sometimes.

...

...

Everybody seemed to be having conversations now, starting to feel slightly relaxed. China introduced the girl, Sri Lanka to me. Apparently she was like a college to China, who was struggling with some problems before, and had to borrow money from China. That's how they knew each other.

ASEAN was on his phone, frantically texting.. until.. he dropped his phone.

The sound of it clattering on the floor silenced the room completely, and everyone's gaze went to ASEAN. His eyes were wide.. with a look of shock pressed on them.. and guilt..

...

...

...

There was no noise.. no one said anything.. just those eyes.. on ASEAN.. until Germany opened his mouth and decided to break the web.

"What happened..?"

ASEAN looked over at Germany, and said:

"Poland.. he's about to die."
