Meeting

Naye pov:

It was the next day and I was currently with Jisung as he seemed to prepare a few things.
I had asked him what he was doing and told me that they had a mission later this evening to which he and a few others alongside Felix would attend.

"What kind of mission is this?" I asked as Jisung reloaded a handgun.

"A meeting." Jisung answered curtly and I raised my eyebrows to which he continued "Hongjoon asked for it. Felix agreed and we're gonna meet up with them."

I didn't know what to say for a few seconds. There were so many thoughts running through my mind that I almost couldn't comprehend the reality of what he said.
"I-isn't that dangerous? What if something happens?"

"That's how this business works, Naye." Jisung scoffed.

"What will happen at the meeting?" I asked nervously and bit my lip. I had no knowledge of how thus things work and turn out most of the time.
Will there be gunfire? Will someone get hurt? How high is the possibility of someone getting hurt?

"Don't work your mind up so much. You'll get a headache." Jisungs words snapped me out of my thoughts and even tho he wasn't looking at me he seemed to know what I had been thinking.

I nodded with pursed lips and Jisung sighed as he put the gun down. He turned to me and I raised my eyebrows slightly at the full attention.

"You know" he started "Before my first mission.. I was overthinking so much.. That I puked. I played every possible scenario of what could happen on my mind." Jisung said and took a pause "The others tried to reassure me that everything will go okay but my panic didn't increase.
Until Felix came, he told me how the mission is planned, every single detail even tho someone in my position back then wasn't allowed to have this much information.
He did it for my sake and I calmed down. I trusted his words and everything turned out the way he described. Back then I questioned if it was just a coincidence and the next mission will turn out different from what Felix will tell me, or if all he says will come true again. And it did. Since then Felix always goes into detail with me. He tells me how he plans what will come and I trust him completely to keep it that way. " Jisung ended and I was left speechless.

If that would be under different circumstances then this would be how I remembered the old Felix.
A reassuring and supportive friend.

"Maybe you can ask him to tell you everything. You know, to ease your nerves. I'm sure he'll do that for you." Jisung said and the corner of his lips curved up the slightest at the end.

I smiled with a nod and we went back to silence while Jisung handled a few more guns and other weapons.

"Jisung, bring Naye to my office. Now."

Came Felix voice through the walkie talkie on his waist. I noticed everyone carrying one of those around and now I know why.

Jisung took the walkie talkie in his hand and pressed the button before speaking "On it."
