(A/N: The song is terrible, don't judge!)

About a week later, Alaska, Seafoam, and Helimorphia went to class together.

"So, what do you guys think of the others in our Winglet?" Heliamphora asked.

"You mean the ones besides that SilkWing that you were flirting with the whole time? Or just him?" Seafoam asked and faintly smiled for the first time Alaska had seen.

Helimorphia blushed. "Apollo and I have been through a lot together. I was just... looking at him to make sure he was okay."

"Oh sure," Alaska mused sarcastically. "So, what's our first class?"

"Music," replied Heliamphora. "It's with all the Winglets together."

Alaska felt a slight annoyance. That meant Koi was going to be there.

"So, looks like we're here," Heliamphora said as they found a cave with the word Music written above it in stone.

Alaska saw many new faces when she entered the music room. A greenish IceWing named Evergreen, a navy and yellow dragon, a reddish SilkWing, and... Allure. His blue scales stood out among the crowd, radiant in the sunlight pouring into the cave. He was amazing.

"Hey, Alaska."

It took Alaska a moment to realize that Allure was speaking to her. "Oh, hi, Allure."

"Attention students!" Transluce, the music teacher, called out. "Today we are going to be writing songs together. Everyone get into groups!"

"Wanna be in a group?" Allure asked Alaska with a sheepish grin.

"I'd love to," Alaska replied.

Allure's smile made Alaska almost blush. She tried to think of something else so she looked around the room. Helimorphia was with Apollo and a SandWing from Silver Winglet. Evergreen  was with another IceWing and a MudWing. Seafoam was standing by herself.

"Hey, Seafoam, want to join our group?" Allure asked kindly.

"Ugh, I suppose you're the best I'm going to get," Seafoam grumbled with a glare at Alaska.

"Okay then, so what should we write about?" Allure asked.

"Uh... we could do the ocean?" Alaska suggested. "Or maybe the rainforest?"

"I don't know, but you guys can decide," Allure said. "I'll go get instruments."

As, Allure left, Alaska could feel Seafoam glaring. "Why do hate me?" she muttered.

"What?!" Seafoam barked.

"Never mind. What do you think we should write about?"

"Well..."

"Well, what?" Alaska asked.

"We could write a song dedicated to the dead," Seafoam told her, "I mean, almost everyone's lost someone. It... might be nice for them to hear."

"That's a great idea." Alaska was surprised that Seafoam had thought of it! Unless...

"Have you ever lost someone?" Alaska asked Seafoam.

Seafoam mumbled something about Alaska knowing all about it, but all she said was, "Yeah. I lost my parents when I was one."

"That's awful, I'm so sorry."

"It is awful."

For a long time Alaska thought about this. Was this the reason why Seafoam was so unhappy and mean? She had a good reason to be.
