Bonus Chapter #3: Fury and Fights

Koi's P.O.V

Koi trudged back to the Quartz Winglet Cave. That infirmary visit was horrible, but thinking about Alaska helped him get through it. 

But why? I was thinking of a dragon who doesn't love me back... yet.

Koi smiled. He would just have to keep trying to impress Alaska. Which would be way easier without a pathetic blue RainWing around. 

Allure! What does Alaska see in him anyway? Is because he's blue? I could be blue, I can change my scales blue! Or maybe it's because he's a RainWing? I could be a RainWing if Alaska wanted me to be.

Koi kept walking until he heard laughter in the hallway. Instead of going to the cave he followed the sound. 

"That music class was weird!" a voice chirped. "But I love weird! I LOVE THIS SCHOOL SO MUCH!"

"I know!! I love Jade Mountain!" another voice shouted.

Koi recognized them as Sienna and Camo from Gold Winglet, the same Winglet as Alaska.

"I don't know, guys, some of it was, very uncomfortable to hear."

Koi hissed as he recognized the third voice. Allure's voice. 

"You mean Koi's song to Alaska?" Sienna asked. "I honestly felt bad for Omnicron. It's the talk of the school now, you know! I mean, Koi seems nice and all, but when is he going to learn that Alaska doesn't have feelings for him. Wait a minute, you like her, don't you!"

You better say no, Koi thought furiously. 

"Yes," blurted Allure, "But you guys can't tell anyone! Especially Koi." 

"I won't!" promised Camo. "What about you, Sienna?"

"Well," mused the MudWing's voice mischievously, "I suppose."

"Thanks," Allure said, "I just have a feeling that Koi is going to hurt me when he finds out."

"YOU BET I WILL!" Koi yelled as he came out from behind the corner. He hit Allure so hard that the RainWing fell to the floor. 

Camo started hyperventilating and Sienna shrieked and ran. Dozens of students came racing into the corridor as Allure hit Koi back. 

Some were cheering for Koi, some for Allure, and some were just awestruck as the fight raged on. 

Koi clawed the inside of Allure's wing so hard that he swore he heard it rip. Allure backed away, clearly trying to get out of here. Well, Koi wasn't going to let him. They would fight until Allure had learned his lesson. 

Remember what Wavepool told you, Koi thought, Don't let him see that you're in pain.

Sienna came racing back with Stargazer following her. "STUDENTS, STOP!" the NightWing yelled. Koi had never seen him so mad. More teachers came rushing out of classrooms as well. 

"Allure, Koi, let's go to the infirmary," Stargazer said. 

Koi left the room in pain, but he didn't show it. Most students looked shocked and Seafoam, another SeaWing, was rolling her eyes and muttering something about Koi being a disgrace to Queen Wavepool. Some dragons, mostly teachers, were glaring and were making their disapproval obvious.

But Koi didn't care about any of this. All that mattered was that Alaska would hopefully love him after this.
