I hugged Laurie for a minute then pulled away, he put his hands on my shoulders and wiped the tears off my neck and cheeks, "I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have forced you." he whispered, I nodded and walked over to Meg, "I was worried sick about you! Never do that again!" She proclaimed hugging me tightly.

That night after dinner I walked to Jo's room, she sat at her desk writing as usual. I sat on her bed and watched as the fire danced on the wick of the candle next to me, "Are you still mad at Laurie?" She questioned, "A little bit I know that he is sorry." I looked over and saw a stack of nice books, "Where did these books come from?" I asked as Jo smiled, "A friend." She said quickly "Do you mind if I look at them?" I asked she had no response I picked one up and opened it

Dear Jo,
I hope this will inspire you to write more beautiful stories like the ones I read the other day.
Love,
Friedrich

I smirked, "Who's Friedrich?" I asked, Jo jumped up from her chair and quickly grabbed the book from my hand. "Get out!" She proclaimed, I smiled and didn't budge. "GET OUT!" Jo yelled I laughed and walked out.
