The dungeon's door was the first thing Elsworth saw when his eyes opened. He got up from the bed, a blanket falling off of him. When he saw light emitting from a window, he ran to it, only to be haulted back. Looking behind him, he saw his hands in binds and chains. He pulled against them, straining to take a look outside of the window.
Instead of the summer he had left in, a thick cloud of snow covered the vicinity. Elsworth's reflection bounced off of the window as the panic returned and all hope once again fled. "Oh, no...what've I done...?"
The door opened and Hans came in, placing a lantern down. Elsworth turned back, attempting to approach the prince. "Why did you take me here?" he demanded, attempting to sound threatening.
But he gently approached, keeping up the look of kindness. "I couldn't just let them kill you," he replied.
"But I'm a danger to Arendelle! Get Anna. Or - or Y/n."
His arms held the other, trying to keep himself warm. "Neither Anna nor Y/n has returned."
The king turned away to look out the window, towards the mountains where he had last seen his sister and the love of his life. They were still out there and could have been hurt and it was all his fault.
"If you would just stop winter...bring back summer..." His breath came out in puffs of warm into the cold air.
Elsworth shut his eyes, trying to not feel. But he could not. Not knowing that his girls were still out there, cold and probably afraid. And with a strange man.
"Please..."
He turned back to Hans, his eyes filled with tears. "Don't you see...? I can't." He looked down at the cuffs his hands were in, biting his lip, then looked back up at Hans. "You have to tell them to let me go."
Hans shifted his eyes at from him, then back. Something seemed...different. As if a light had gone out in his eyes. But Elsworth, in his misery, failed to make proper note of it.
"I will do what I can," he said and, taking back up his lantern, left the king in the dungeon. Elsworth watched him go, the fear settling back in. Feeling something slippery in his cuffs, he looked down to see the he was turning them to solid ice.

Sven ran through as quickly as the snow would allow him to with Kristoff on top, holding on to Anna. Y/n sat in the back, her arms limply around his neck.
He looked down at Anna, took off his hat, and put it on her head, noticing that more white had appeared. "Just hang in there, okay? Y/n? You okay?"
No answer.
"Come on, buddy, faster!" he called, the panic rising in his voice.
Next to them, Olaf slid down in the snow, having a fun time doing so, in spite of the situation. He jiggled with the bumps, then got sent off from a rock that stuck out of the mountain. "I'll meet you guys at the castle!" he called as he sailed through the air.
"Stay out of sight, Olaf!" Kristoff called as they galloped away.
Now out of sight, his voice yelled out, "I will!" Not even a minute later, to some random woman in the village, "Hello!"
"AHHHHH! IT'S ALIVE!"
They ran through the village and down the cobblestone rode, up to the front of the castle. Two guards stood atop, watching out. One called out, "It's Princess Anna!" He went down to greet her, his colleague following him.
Pulling up, Kristoff got off and took Anna into his arms. With one hand, he reached back to pull Y/n up, who was trying as hard as she could to hold onto his neck without assistance. When she was secure, he got a better grip on Anna, who looked up at him, shivering. Her face had gone white-white and her lips, usually a deep pink color, were blue. "Are you...gonna be okay...?"
