Krista had fallen asleep soon after the lights turned off. She woke up to the sound of crying. She looks around, realizing she wasn't in the asylum anymore but back in her room. She tries to open her door, and her hand phases right through it. 'I'm a ghost?' Krista thinks, walking towards whoever is crying. It was her parents. "How could she just disappear?" Her mom asks. Her dad places his arm around her mom.

Krista wished she could just tell her parents that she's fine. But she couldn't speak, somehow. She tries to place her arms around her parents, desperately trying to comfort them. Everything around Krista disappears suddenly, leaving her in a black void. She sits, wondering when she'll wake up. Her eyes adjust to the darkness and she realizes she is awake, and the crying somehow hasn't stopped.

She looks around, and notices Isaac, still awake, in the corner. She gets up and walks over to him. "Y-You alright?" She whispers, causing Isaac to jump. He turns to her and wipes his face with his arm. "No." He says. She sits down next to him and places her arm around him. "What's wrong?" She asks. He clearly tries to stop crying.

Isaac doesn't answer. "You can tell me, but if you don't want to talk about it, I won't press on." Krista says. Isaac sniffles and Krista prepares to get up. "Thank you." Isaac says as she walks away. Krista smiles and goes back to where she woke up. She tries to go back to sleep but can't. 'What happened to Isaac?' She wonders.

After a while, the lights turn on. "Ughh, five more minutes." Axel says, covering his eyes with his arm. Emma gets up and grabs his arm. "No you gotta wake up." She says, and Axel stands up. He yawns and grabs his water bottle. Emma lets go of his arm and walks over to the door. She grabs a water bottle, which is now just ice, and places it under the pillow that she ripped off the wall.

Krista walks over to her. "What are you doing?" She asks Emma. "I'm trying to preserve our food." Emma responds, lifting up the pillow, revealing a sandwich. "Smart." Krista says and Emma smiles for a split second. "I'm preparing for the worst." She responds. Krista walks away and looks around.

Nick and Tanner are both asleep, Axel is walking in circles, Emma is still by the pillow, and Isaac is sitting, facing away from the corner. Krista sits down and looks at Isaac. 'Why was he so sad earlier?' She thinks. Isaac notices Krista looking at him and waves. She quickly looks away. 'God, now I look weird.' Krista thinks. She quickly fiddles with her hair and thinks.

A chill runs up her spine when she remembers her dream. She zips up her hoodie instinctively. 'Is that why Isaac was crying? He must've seen his family.' Krista thinks. Nick gets up and stretches. "Good morning." Axel says, causing Nick to stare at him. "Dang, I thought this place was a dream." Nick says. Axel looks weirdly surprised by this. He whispers something under his breath but Krista couldn't hear what he said.

Isaac walks over to Tanner and pokes him. He opens his eyes and looks at Isaac. "Morning sleepyhead." Isaac says. He grabs the tennis ball next to Tanner and drops it on him. "Ow, dude." Tanner says, kicking Isaac's legs and he falls. Isaac laughs and quickly gets back up. Tanner grabs the tennis ball and stands up, throwing it at Nick.

Nick catches it and throws it back at Tanner. Isaac steals it and throws it at Axel. He barely catches it and throws it at Emma. She catches it and they all throw the ball around for a while. Krista watches as they mess around. Axel looks at her and waves. "Come join us Krista!" He says. Krista is surprised. 'Nobody ever wanted me to play with them.' She thinks while getting up.

Isaac throws the ball at Krista and she catches it. She throws it at Tanner. The throw actually makes it to him and Emma gives her a thumbs up. Krista smiles. 'I never thought I could be good at anything other than reading.' She thinks Although she didn't know where she was, she had friends that'll make this place just a bit better.

'Should I really call them friends?' Krista thinks. 'It's more like forced companions.' She thought. Emma throws the ball at her and she catches it. She quickly throws it to Nick. He looks around and notices something. He throws the ball up, towards the roof. It hits something resembling a camera and breaks it. It falls with the tennis ball and hits the floor. Krista walks over to it.

'What is this?' She thinks, studying the camera. She notices a little handle and pulls on it. It opens a secret compartment and there's a note inside. She takes it out and reads it. Krista turns around and shows everyone the note. "It's only random symbols." She says. "Why would that be hidden in a camera?" Emma asks. Axel shrugs and grabs the tennis ball. "Lets worry later, this game's fun." He says.

Krista puts the note in her pocket. Everyone gets back to where they were, and passes around the ball again. 'What do these symbols mean? Who wrote them?' Krista thinks while passing the ball to Emma. She catches it and throws it. Krista returns to thought. 'Why would someone put this up there?' She kept thinking. But Krista had one prolonged question in her mind. 'Can these help us escape?'
