I am freaking out over here. What should I do? I mean.. What is going on with me? Why isn’t Adam answering my phone call?
“Hey Jezz, just control yourself,” tried Tom to calm me down.
“Okays. I will try to.”
I looked around searching for a clock in the pub. Damn it! Don’t they like a habit of hanging a clock?
Note: I can believe I am saying this but I have no choice.
“Tom, can I know what the time is?”
“It’s 1 in the morning,”
“Damn!” I screamed God knows why.
Suddenly I heard someone called me. When I turned around to verify the person, it was Adam.
I ran toward sobbing. He then asked me what the hell happened.
I told him practically everything while sobbing. But when I was telling him, I saw him smirking. After I finished tell him, he started laughing loudly.
I felt awkward. I looked around and I found out everyone was laughing with him even Tom. Lunatics!
Out of the sudden, my eyes caught on something. When I looked, I saw Jo coming out from the bath room.
I was shocked of my life. I thought she was dead. But now what is she doing over here. OH MY GOD! Am I seeing Jo’s ghost already.
“Dude why are you laughing? And why can I see Jo’s ghost or soul or whatever?” I asked.
Adam did bother answering me. Asshole!
“Why are you all laughing?” I screamed top of my lungs just to get everyone’s attention.
For a moment, the room was pin drop silences.
“I think it’s time for her to know,” gaped Adam.
“What it’s time for me to know? Tell me!” I asked full of curiosity.
“Girl just chills. Okay we will tell you. You see actually you have been be pranked. I this is actually your birthday give from all of us. We planned to freak you out and see how you will react. The truth is that Jo is not dead and the call was just a prank call. It was me. The bang sound is all planned. Honestly this cops over here aren’t actually real, ”gasped Adam.
The cops than took off their masks and they were actually my friends from high school.
“Damn you guys. Did you know that I was about to get an heart attack,” I scolded them.
“Oh come on Jezz, you don’t want to spoil all this is it?” asked Jo.
Suddenly I heard someone yelled surprised from my back. When I turned around, it was my parents and my favorite uncle with his wife.
Oh My God! I can’t believe that they are here with me.
I immediately ran towards them.
“Oh my, guys I am so happy to see you,” I said.
“We are also happy to see my lovely daughter,” gasped my parents.
“I am so glad to see you Jezz. I missed you. Like a lot,” said my uncle.
“How long will you guys be here?” I asked just wanting to know but they refused to tell me.
“Guys I am so happy. Thank you all,” I thanked my friends.
“Don’t thank us. Thank Jo. She was the one who planned this. She was the one who came up with this idea,” gasped Adam and Tom.
“Thank you Jo. This is the best birthday present ever. Thank a million,” I thanked Jo.
