Jisung
What kind of messed up situation was this? How does one explain to their best friend why their so-called enemy has them pinned against a counter? The simple answer is you don't. Instead, stand there with your mouth opening and closing like a fish.
"Oh hey Felix," Minho said sounding as calm as ever.
"Hey Minho...I wasn't expecting you over." Felix replies sending Jisung a look that screams for an explanation.
"Don't worry I was leaving anyway. I've been kicked out. Enjoy your night Felix and we'll talk tomorrow Sung." With that Minho was gone.
Felix still looked shell-shocked, staring at the space Minho used to occupy. To be fair Jisung still hadn't moved.
"What the fuck was that? Why were you pinned against the counter, and why was it lowkey hot?"
Felix had to be joking.
"What do you mean hot I have no idea what you're talking about." Jisung had concluded that he should resolutely try and convince Felix that he was losing his mind.
Of course, Felix wasn't an idiot and that wasn't going to work but still. A plus for effort.
"Jisung, I'm not dumb and yes hot. What were you two even talking about?"
Felix moved from the door to set his bag on the bench by the door. As Felix bends to take off his shoes, something Minho hadn't done, Jisung finally pushes off the counter. He takes a seat on the couch facing the TV, knowing Felix isn't going to let this go. He didn't want to lie to Felix but Jisung didn't have all the logistics to even attempt to explain.
Felix had gone into the kitchen and come back with two glasses of water. Jisung thinks wine would have been a better choice but he'll take what he can get.
As Felix sat, Jisung braced himself for the conversation they were about to have.
"Come on Sung, tell me what's going on. That conversation looked hostile more than anything despite the position you two were in."
Jisung never did learn how to bypass Felix's concerned puppy dog eyes. With a sigh, Jisung starts to explain.
"Minho asked me to be his dance partner." Okay, so not the truth but also not a lie.
"You mean for the dance class that Jinnie and I are also in?" Felix asked now looking more curious than concerned.
"Yes, that dance class. He told this girl that he couldn't be her partner because he was already partnered up with me." Felix wasn't buying it.
"Okayyyy," Felix says dragging out the word just to make sure Jisung knew he could sense the bullshit.
"That might check but what else aren't you telling me? You can't lie for shit Jisung."
Jisung's mind was running on empty. It's not that he couldn't lie, it's that he can't lie to Felix. This is going to be a problem since he knows has to lie to the entire student body. Jisung had never paid much attention to anyone but his friends, but he couldn't deny the fact that their little group was popular. Put a bunch of hot guys in a group and people go feral. This just means that Jisung can't only lie to a small controlled group. The news of Minho and Jisung, notorious enemies, dating was going to spread like wildfire. Felix was just going to have to know that this whole thing was a sham before Jisung told him in a moment he shouldn't.
"Fine," Jisung concedes. "We're also pretending to date."
Felix to his credit didn't look all that surprised.
