Christile drove Aurelia back to her office. At first, he hesitated because it was late at night and Aurelia still insisted that she needed to go back to her office.
"Are you sure, you don't want me to drive you in your home?" Christile asked and had a glance at her while he was driving.
"No need, I sleep in my office tonight. I have an important meeting tomorrow," Aurelia said and smiled a little at him.
They were on the road when Aurelia's phone rang and she saw David calling her, he glanced at Christile who saw the caller of her phone, she sighed and answered it.
"Why?" Aurelia answered.
"Where are you?" Aurelia glanced at Christile who was now frowning while looking straight on the road and had no emotion on his face.
"I'm with Christile right now, you? Where the hell are you?" Aurelia said in a grumpy tone in her voice.
"I'm with Lucky and we are done having dinner, where now headed to a club, come and join us honeybee," David's voice pleaded, and Aurelia shook her head.
"I have a lot of things to do right now, I'm sleeping in my office, so don't expect me to come," Aurelia said in a serious voice.
"You were such a workaholic woman," David said groaning at her. Aurelia rolled her eyes as David saw her.
"I'll call my security to go there in your location, so you both will be safe," Aurelia demanded.
"No need we can take care of ourselves," David declined to her.
"No, I'm not worried about you dumbass, I'm worried about Lucky," Aurelia felt irritated at what David said.
"You're hurting me bitch." David said and Aurelia imagined that David was pouting his lips right now.
"Just do what I told you," Aurelia said and hung up the phone. She dials again in her phone and places it to her ear. She called her security to go where David and Lucky were about to have fun.
"Track your Sir David right now and go in his location, and please drive your Ma'am Lucky to our condominium after they have done in the club," Aurelia ordered.
"Yes, Ma'am," The intruder said in the other line.
"Thanks." Aurelia hung up the phone and looked at the road, she looked outside, and she saw that they were in her office.
"Sorry about that," Aurelia apologizes to Christile.
"It's fine," Christile smiled at her.
Aurelia was about to head out of the car when Christile touched her hand, Aurelia looked at him and frowned.
"Why?" Aurelia asked him, she looked at her hand as Christile held it still, Christile looked at her hand also and lost his touch.
"Are you and David.." Christile sighed as he doubted when he continued to ask Aurelia or not.
"We're not in a relationship, but he's important to me," Aurelia cut on what Christile was about to say. Christile smiled and nodded at her.
"Go, take it easy," Christile reminded her, Aurelia nodded and headed out to the car.
Aurelia walked inside the company while Christile maneuvered his car. She looked back and saw that Christile had driven away, she let out a big sigh, the nervousness she felt when she was with him was now gone. She admits it she missed him so much, and she admitted to herself that her love for him remains. It has never faded nor lost. But she's afraid, she is afraid to bet everything, she's afraid she loses in a battle again.
