"Okay, here is the bathroom schedule!" Amy posts a small piece of paper, a very organized one. Charts cover it from top to bottom with times varying from thirty minute intervals for the entirety of the day. She smiles, proud of her work and Silver cocks his head to the side and Sonic scoffs.

"Amy, I can't exactly piss on a schedule." Sonic, crossing his arms, lets out a tired groan and mutters something to Silver only the other hedgehog could hear. "I didn't think this would be such a mess."

"I heard that." Wrong hedgehog. Sonic whips himself the other way and walks back to the living room and plops himself on the couch. Silver walks towards the list on the bathroom door and notices that it's his time to shine as he walks in to get his quills ready for a get together with some of his friends he hasn't seen in a while.

In the very small bathroom, he stands with a thoughtful expression, his distinctive quills glistening in the soft light. With his tongue sticking out, he leans over and stares at the weird look of his signature quills. Unbothered by it this time, he bends down and looks at his side of the bottom of the sink, which only houses, and can hold, a couple of things: a quill brush, quill gel, and Amy's old quill dryer he insisted on keeping. Long hair these days.

Sadly, this comically-limited space seems to hold a challenge from his long locks and small arm space to deal with them, but Silver navigates it with a determined focus. He roughly brushes his quills and struggles with the knots before falling to the ground and sitting back up on his knees and staring at himself in the mirror, only the top of his head, his eyes and his ears are showing. Luckily, for him, he was able to get his quills in a decent position before picking up Sonic's cologne. Why Sonic's, you ask? Silver's a cheapskate. A small whiff of cologne sprays onto him and he grins.

At the same time this is happening, on the other side of their small apartment sits their cozy kitchen, a very homey place, and Amy's favorite area of the house. She grills a couple sausages on the stovetop, each one sizzling until it has a signature golden-brown color. While the sausages cook to perfection, Amy toasts the sausage in the oven, ensuring they strike the ideal balance between crispiness and softness. She takes pride in the details, wanting Sonic's snack to be nothing short of perfect. In a pot on the stove, Amy's famous homemade chili simmers. The blend of spices and hearty ingredients infuses the air with a mouthwatering fragrance. After the sausages and buns finish cooking, Amy makes each chili dog with care. She puts the grilled sausage in the warm bun and spoons the robust chili over the top. Finally, a sprinkle of freshly grated cheddar cheese melts into the chili, adding a touch of creamy indulgence.

Amy walks out to the couch where Sonic is seen still laying on the couch and he notices the smell right away. His nose dances in delight as he sits up and looks at the chili dogs in front of him. What a beautiful sight. His mouth waters as he looks longingly at the chili dog on the plate in front of him. The delicately grilled chili dog sits on a lightly toasted bun, enticing with its savory aroma. The juicy sausage with a golden-brown hue from the grill has Sonic knowing there will be a satisfying snap with each bite. The bun, slightly crispy on the outside but knowingly soft on the inside, enwraps the plump sausage. Amy's famous hearty chili lays over the sausage, its deep red hue hinting at a hot kick of blend of spices and flavors. Cheddar cheese and jalapenos sit on the top, just as Sonic likes it.

He grabs the chili dog off the plate and holds it in his hand, bringing it up to his mouth. It almost touches his lips before a small flame ignites on the chili dog, and Sonic has a mouth full of ashes. He jumps into the air and growls.

"WHAT THE HECK?!" He yelps and stares at the culprit, who is none other than Blaze herself.

"SILVER!! WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT KEEPING YOUR STUFF ON YOUR SIDE OF THE BATHROOM?!!! IT IS TOO SMALL OF AN AREA TO BEGIN WITH, I DON'T NEED ALL OF YOUR SHIT COMBINED WITH MINE! AND GET ALL OF YOUR QUILLS OFF THE DAMN SINK!" She roars, fire practically spewing from all corners of her mouth and her hands. Sonic rushes towards the two and pushes them apart. He rubs his forehead and stares at them.

"Silver, what the fuck, I would assume you know better than to touch Blaze's stuff. Like, are you always this stupid, or are you making a special effort today? And Blaze, you BURNT MY BABY. For SHAME!!" Sonic dramatically holds up the remains of his chili dog like a parody of the famous scene in Hamlet. Amy walks over to the group and stares at the bathroom in horror.

It was like walking into a battleground where the flames had danced their own way and wreaked havoc. What once was decorated by Amy, a very cute bathroom indeed, is now a charred, disaster zone. Soot covers the tiles, and scorch marks cover the mirrors which are now dark and cracked. She looks in at her distorted reflection in the cracked mirror and a piece of glass snaps off and lands on the sink, almost hitting her in the process which makes her jump. In the air, instead of Silver's cologne, well, Sonic's cologne, is now overpowered by that of burnt wood, singed curtains, and melted plastic. Tattered remains of the shower curtains hang like a defeated flag after a battle. Even the once warm and cozy towels were reduced to ashy, sorry excuses for even a small paper towel. The flames indeed had consumed and left their mark on every surface, turning the serene bathroom into a scene of destruction and chaos.

Amy stares at the bathroom, now her head hung in defeat, then she makes eye contact with Blaze, who stares her dead on. Tears prick the corner of Amy's eyes as she fights the urge to let them fall. An idea, reduced to ashes like the bathroom she had decorated herself, in her own muse. Sonic feels the need to wrap his arm around Amy while she sniffles and snorts. She walks out and he follows.

Blaze stares at what she has done just because of one mistake Silver made to piss her off and she falls to her knees in defeat. She picks up one of the lousy towels on the ground and holds it in her hand then crumples it into nothing. She stands up and stares at the mirror then a determined look washes over her face.

This isn't how she goes down.

A couple hours later, Amy is seen with a bandana over her face as Sonic leads her into the hallway leading to the bathroom

"Sonic, I don't care what this is, unless it is an uncharred bathroom." She shoots and he takes off the bandana. Amy opens her eyes and gasps, her hand covering her mouth.

They fixed the bathroom.

Surprisingly, the once-devastated bathroom has undergone a remarkable transformation. Sonic, Silver, Blaze and their friends all pitched in and restored the bathroom to its former beauty. Sonic got rid of all the ashes and covered everything still ablaze with water as he rushed around, Silver used his telekinesis and lifted all of the debris off the counters and all, Blaze rebought all of Amy's decorations and other trinkets from her recent delivery purchases, Tails and Knuckles installed a wider wall to the bathroom, so it has much more room than usual, Tails also gave them all new shelving units and bins to put under the sink so no one's stuff gets mixed in, Cream found some new towels that she knew Amy would adore, and they all pitched in to buy a nice towel warmer, so now they can place their towels in it to give them a warm, cozy hug after being in the shower or a leisurely bath.

Gone are the scorched walls and blackened tiles, replaced by fresh coats of paint and glowing surfaces. The mirrors, once cracked and clouded, have a new sense of cleanliness. The aroma of fresh paint and new materials replaces the lingering scent of smoke and charred remnants. The shower curtain was replaced and the lily design cascades from the top to the bottom. The showerhead's water rushes like a fountain to show it's in tip-top shape once more. The towels, once reduced to ashes, have been replaced with fluffy, soft counterparts that invite comfort.

What a great gift. Amy grins wider than she even knew was possible and throws her arms around Sonic, who graciously accepts the hug, then points her to Blaze, who was the one that came up with the idea and kept Amy out of the house while she ordered the extra stuff to the quick delivery system. Amy laughs and hugs Blaze as well and the cat smiles back at her.

Amy loves her roommates shenanigans, and would never change that for the world. However, more hell broke loose after Silver discovered the start of Amy's precious private library just days later.
