You and Joel returned home in a quiet haze, the kind of silence that wasn't empty, but full—thick with thoughts neither of you quite knew how to say out loud. Everything felt a little softer, a little slower, like the world had shifted its weight just slightly to accommodate this new reality: you were going to have a baby.

Once inside, you both kicked off your shoes and sank onto the couch, the weight of the day finally catching up with you. Joel sat close, his hand instinctively finding yours before gently drifting to your belly. His touch was reverent, careful—like he was afraid he might wake the baby just by resting his palm there.

"I know I sound like a loon," he started softly, "but don't you feel it too? I swear I've loved you from the start." His voice was filled with emotion and his gaze never left yours as he spoke. You smiled at his words and gently cupped his face before leaning in to kiss him sweetly.

You spent the rest of the evening wrapped in each other—talking in low voices, daydreaming aloud. Neither of you brought up names or painted pictures of who the baby might be. That was the point, after all—you'd agreed to wait when the time was right.

"I hope she gets your eyes," Joel said after a while, his head resting lightly against your shoulder.

You smiled. "She?"

He shrugged, cheeks pinking just slightly. "Okay, maybe I'm hoping for a girl. I love my girls, wouldn't mind being surrounded by them, ya' know?"

He blushed.

Joel actually blushed.

Your heart tugged, and you reached out to trace your fingers gently along his jaw. "Thank you," you whispered.

He looked up, confused. "For what?"

"For being here. For stepping into this with me without hesitation. For being... you."

Joel blinked, and you saw it before he even felt it—a single tear rolling down his cheek.

"I'm gonna try to be the best I can," he said, voice low.

You met his gaze and held it. "You already are."

"I do" you said looking longly into his warm brown eyes. There was a small frown as he didn't understand what you meant. "I know I've loved you from the start".

His goofy smile made you giggle as he swooped you up on his lap your lips meeting his in a passionate wet sloppy kiss.

"You drive me crazy, darlin'" he said as he explored your clad body. "Too. Many. Clothes" he said in between kisses as he helped to undress you.

You wasted no time and started to unbutton his flannel shirt, your nails marking his broad chest. You kissed him again, your tongue dancing with his as he unbuckled his worn-out jeans lowering them with his boxers just enough for his cock to spring free thirsty for your cunt.

"Ride me, Baby girl" he whispered leaving love bits down your neck and chest as you swiftly coated his hardness with your wetness, already ready to take all of his length.

He let a loud moan out as you sank into him, his thickness taking your breath away.

As you moved your hips, riding him on the couch, Joel's hands roamed over your body, caressing and squeezing every inch of skin he could reach. The pleasure was overwhelming, and you couldn't help but moan and gasp as he hit all the right spots inside you. You could feel yourself getting closer and closer to the edge, but you wanted to prolong the ecstasy for as long as possible. You leaned down to kiss him again, your bodies moving in perfect synchronization as you rode him harder and faster. Joel's grip on your hips tightened, his own moans growing louder as he reached his own peak. Together, you both rode out the waves of pleasure, collapsing onto the couch in a sweaty, satisfied heap.
