I still couldn't understand how and when she changed so much as I thought to myself.

I started to look back at all the good memories we had with each other.

One time when we were seven, we watched a scary movie that we obviously weren't allowed to watch. I think it was ''Scream 1'' or maybe it was ''Happy Death Day to You'' anyways as I said we weren't allowed to watch scarry movies because of our age but that didn't stop us.

The only thing we needed to do was to keep ourselves quiet so that we wouldn't wake her parents.

Ella was drinking some soda when suddenly a jump scare came up, she screamed so loud and some of the soda that she was drinking went up her nose. I can still hear her parents scream at us because they were so mad, but we couldn't stop laughing about the soda and her scream.

But I wonder if she even remembers that...

My mind went to another memory. We were about six years old when we first arrived at Mars, since Earth was a pretty destroyed planet, we had to move, so Mars was the best option.

I remembered her look on her face when we arrived at the spaceship, but I still couldn't place it, it was like she was scared, sad, angry but even happy and excited. It was so weird seeing her like that.

She didn't really have a reason as to why she left Earth to live on Mars, but I did. There was this deadly sickness going around on Earth. And my mom died because of the virous, my dad didn't want me to get sick to, so we left.

It's still impossible to explain how she and I felt when we arrived at Mars. Just the same feeling as when we were about to leave Earth, only that the excitement and happiness was gone.

The whole planet was just a big red rock, and some plants that other people had planted here and there. Mars wasn't as lively as Earth, but it was okey once you got used to it

We got our homes, me and my dads' home was small but cozy, we eventually upgraded our house when my dad had gained some money. It was better than the first house and it just felt more at home...

''Abi! Abigail?! Hello?'' Ella said.

''Yeh?'' I answered.

''What were you thinking about?'' She asked.

''Oh nothing''... ''It is getting late.'' I said

I turned the engine off and said: We should camp here and get some rest. Tomorrow we should try and find a spaceship and get of world. Does that sound good?

''Yes, that's sound great' Ella answered.

''Okey good, I'll get some wood from the dead plants for the fire, and you can get started on building some shelter, with stones or something'' I said to her with a smile.

I took my flashlight and went to get some wood. After a while of gathering I started to go back, when suddenly I heard Ella screaming like she was hurt.
