Ch II:-
I LOOKED AROUND TO SEE IF ANYBODY ELSE has noticed this change in atmosphere, instead I saw the faces of pure interest and lust and a hundred more of that sort. It was basically the faces of the people who I thought could control themselves but were now drooling over the newbies. For the first time ever, class A drooling over someone else. As I looked around I saw all of the class were on the edge of their seats just staring.
"What's so special about them?" Jen asked beside me.
I felt relieved that another person wasn't as attracted to them as much as the others. Leave it to Jen to not be attracted to anyone she sees.
Without answering Jen, I examined them. The girl was a red head. The near to crimson hair just fell past what seemed to be the biggest boobs I have ever seen. Putting the boobs aside and the matching ass aside, she was quite olive skinned and around 5'6 in height. Her green eyes shinned with interest as she scanned across the room, looking at the faces of her new classmates. She introduced herself as Viola Lion, 17, she said that she liked earth and the wonders of it and that she didn't like the 'lemons that lived on it'. She had also said that she liked taking long walks and explore.
The second one was a guy called Tomas Hope. His blue-as-dark-as-sapphire eyes showed boredom and the cold posture showed that he hated to be here. HIs short, jet black, curly hair looked dyed but I was pretty sure that it wasn't. He was just a few inches taller than Viola, maybe 5'9, and could've looked thin and weak but everything about him says that he is not meant to be messed with. He stayed quiet after saying his name, even though everyone was waiting for more. After a few more seconds the guy ext to him started to speak.
His name was Gray Ridgeway. His hair was lighter and longer than Tom's. His eyes were like his name but lighter, nearing to white or pale blue. Lean and quite muscular. 6ft maybe? Even though having his hands in his front jean pockets shows that he was relaxed, but his face showed total discomfort. His eyes were scanning the room and stopped on me. A half smile, half smirk formed on his lips. He said that he was addicted to hot cakes and he hated crowded places. His hobby was just to lie around and rest.
The fourth was Mail* Burner. Having chin-length brow hair with a little bit of a red tint on the light and green-blue eyes he proved to be the most attractive out of the four. HIs posture said calm and relaxed but not much else, immediately saying that he was quite mysterious. He was a video game addict and hated going out for unnecessary reasons.
Rachel hasn't been exaggerating when she described them. In fact, they must be an understatement. Their faces must have been the most beautiful thing that this world has ever set eyes on, like they were a completely different race. If I did have pick a word to describe them, it would be angelic... with a kind of glow if I'm a allowed a few more words.
I eyed them while they moved to their seats. Why? I asked myself. A couple of angelic looking guys come in and all I do is glare at them? The air maybe just a hallucination and the class is just acting crazy.
I looked sideways and Jen seemed like she couldn't care less about them. I tilted my head looking at her.
Up till now I thought that no one can be even just as beautiful as her. I always thought it nice the way that her black hair gleamed in the light, and although it was a weird color, the endless black eyes just kind of adds to her beauty. Her pale skin was almost as pale as Tom nad seemed like if you looked hard enough, you would see the whole of her skeleton. And it was kind of cute the way that she always finds her face with those big glasses of hers, the way that she was two inches shorter than my height of 5'6 didn't exactly help either. She always stayed from every kind of attention and it seemed like she didn't care about anything but school.
"What?" She caught me staring.
I smiled "Ever considered contacts? You'll look much better without those glasses"
She rolled her eyes, we've had this type of conversation before and she ignored the comment.
The bell rang, ending my horrible second period in music and starting break. I headed outside with Jen, walking to our usually bench.
Like the parking lot, the playground was a big space for everyone. Although, I don't know how it happened, but class A just somehow took the south west corner . To add to the weirdness of it, barely anyone from the other classes go there, like there's the wall or something.
But, it seemed like today was different than any other. Just as the four newbies came out towards us, the whole school crowded round, all of them.
I faced Jen trying to ignore the push of wanting to join them and acting like a crazed fan. She stared at the crowed with a kind of worried frown on her face.
"What the hell has the school come to?" She followed the crowd with her eyes.
I shrugged "What do you think is up with them?" I put my elbow on my knee, resting my chin on my fist. "I mean they're gorgious. Too gorgious"
"Dunno." She turned to me smirking "Maybe their vampires"
I couldn't help but laugh.
As Gray followed the teacher into the classroom, he immediately started looking for her. The person who he's supposed to guard, but keep his distance, in fear that the soon-to-be-damned angel, Daniel Hayes will figure out what they're doing. Keep his distance but still protect her... how can he do that?
He looked at the faces of the humans, and immediately went out of his comfort zone. Some weird beings he thought as he looked at the faces who were now practically drooling all over the four of them. He's never seen them like this when he came. But then again, he has only guarded the older generation. Maybe it's just the younger generation that's weird.
When it was his turn to introduce himself, he saw her. Greta Gallagher. Confidence suddenly filed him. He found her, now all he had to do is guard her without people knowing that he is, and without seeming like he's stalking her.
She leaned over and seemed like she was glaring at them. What for? A shiver ran through his body but he shoved it away. It was unlikely that she would have instantly known. It's not like she can notice the difference between creatures. She'd have to be a half-angel, a Nephlim, and angels are forbidden to have relationships with humans.
Gray smiled at her, though it was came as a half smirk as that how he naturally smiled. He examined her. She had just about waist-length blonde hair with curls at the end. Her eyes, kind of almond shaped were sea green. Looking closer as he walked up to her seat, he could see just a faint sign of freckles amongst the bridge of her nose. Sitting two seats behind her, he stared at her slender back.
"Is it just me" Mail leant over towards him "Or do you sense a Nephlim in the room?"
Gray immediately snapped his head at Greta. Shaking his head, he closed his eyes and searched for people's aura's. Comping up, there was a rage of different, smoky colors outlining their bodies, telling them what their true nature is. A half angel's aura should show as sliver. He focused it towards Greta. However, as soon as he did, the different colors around the room mixed, turning it into a bright white light. Opening his eyes again, Gray flinched as the light almost blinded him.
Mail nodded he head. "The girl is somehow protected." He turned his gaze towards her "I'm going to guess seraphite? Maybe she's wearing it as jewelry. Whatever it is, it'll protect her from danger as along as she senses it. Daniel would have a hard time getting to her."
"But then that means we'll have a hard time getting her." Gray stated "And what if she doesn't sense the danger? Or if she's actually the Nephlim? She'll see us if when ever turn into angels."
"That's what makes it exciting" Mail smirked "Besides, we don't know for sure if she is the Nephil. Sure she has the looks for it but everyone here does. For all we know it could be the one next to her, or the one in front, or behind. Let's not form conclusions right away."
