Ch V:-

SATURDAY MORNING AND I HAD ABSOLUTELY no idea what to do.

It had been almost 4 days since I had been attacked and I was already over it. All that was in my mind was the prodding boredom telling me I need to go out and do something. But with who? I had already called Jen earlier on and she said that she was having this ‘family thing’, which I don’t even get the point of. It was only her and her mother (unless of course her cousins or something was in town). If my ‘parents’ or whatever said that we had to have a family thing then I would do anything to get out of it.There was Rachel, but I had no intention listening to her rant about the latest news of Tomas Hope.

By 1 pm, I couldn’t take it anymore and set out to me and Jen’s coffee place. Just stopping to call a good-bye to my parents, I headed out to my car and drove to Second Cup.

From the outside, through the glass of the shop, I could see that the place wasn’t as crowed I expected it to be.  I couldn’t help but smile as the many scents of beverages and other snacks that the shop sold.

Jen and I found this place when we were just wondering around the small town, just desperate of something to do. After walking around for what seemed like hours (which probably wasn’t) we saw the place sitting across the road with barely anyone in there. We have been going there ever since.

“Hey” I smiled as I sat down on a table that a guy called Nate was busting.

After you go to the same coffee shop over again you start to know the workers name without having to look at the name tags.

“Hey” he looked up and smiled “No Jen today?”

I shook my head “She decided to be a female dog and leave me for her family” I smiled at myself not being able to call Jen anything bad behind her back.

“You’re allowed to swear here you know” He smiled “Go order something. I’ll save you the seat”

I kept my smiled as I walked up to the counter.

“Caramel macchiato please” I teased a smiled to who I noticed was a new guy behind the counter.

He nodded his head pressing keys at the cash register and telling my order to the guy behind him.

I inclined my head taking in his features.

Light blonde and wavy hair that was tied into a ponytail with pale blue eyes so pale that it might as well just be his huge pupils.

I looked at his name tag “Daniel” I said looking up at his angelic face. “You new here?” I smiled somewhat intending to flirt.

He smile back “Yes, I am” He shifted his attention from me to the next person who just joined the line. He seemed to be complaining something about his coffee. I didn’t pay attention

“When did you start?”I spoke again when the guy stomped off.

He laughed “Your caramel macchiato is ready” He pointed

I pouted at him while he took another order. He looked at me and laughed again

"What time does your shift finish?"

Daniel raised his eyebrows while smirking "In 2 hours"

"Great" I smiled again "I'll be somewhere in the mall. Look for me"

I walked getting my drink and sitting at the table that Nate saved.

"You know," He said while getting up off my seat "I don't really appreciate you flirting with the new guy"

"Why?" I laughed "You jealous" I said while winking at him again

He rolled his eyes while getting back to his job "You're such a flirt" he muttered

Two hours later I was in the music shop strapping a guitar over my shoulder and started playing a familiar tune.

"You play?" A voice said said behind me

I smirked while turning around My eyebrows raised as I saw who it is.

"Hey" The smirk turned into a smile " Gray, right?"

He laughed whilst nodding "Greta right?"

The smile had gotten bigger while I looked down.

"You play?" he asked again looking at the guitar. "I knew a woman who can play once."

"Oh?" I said unstrapping the guitar "Where us she now?"

"Heaven" His smile was still on his face.

My eyebrows creased as I imagined him with a knife piercing through the body of a woman

"So" I said breaking the silence "You play anything?"

He shook his head "But I always wanted to play the drums"

Grabbing drumsticks , he walked up to the drums and started hitting a horrible beat.

"Wow I said clapping "You are so good. Are you sure haven't played this before?"

He laughed at my sarcasm "Be quiet, I'm not playing seriously. I learnt a beat" He started playing again.

Daniel Hayes walked around the mall with hands on pockets, ignoring the loving stares that the girls are giving him. But he payed no attention to them, what he did pay attention to was all the places that Greta could be.

She came to him in the came to him in the coffee place and told him to look for her in the mall. Daniel has already went to all her favorite shops and there was no sign of her what-so-ever.

He couldn't help but smile. She was probably being hard to find and her playfulness only amused him. Beautiful, smart and exciting. She just keeps getting even more interesting by the second.

A couple of Greta's favorite shops later he just started looking at random shops. Looking towards the music store, he finally saw her through it's see through glass. Instant jealousy hit him. She was talking with another guy, laughing. Who was this guy and why would he even consider that he is worthy enough to be in the same room with her?

Taking in a deep breath, he forced himself to calm down and walked to them relaxed and uncaring.

"You know" he said when he was in a fair distance away from them. They looked towards his direction. "I hardly think it's fair that you make me look all around the mall for you and you're just chilling here with another guy."

It looked like it took Greta a moment to recognize him. She laughed at herself "Well, if you were getting tired of looking for me you could've just ditched. You'd be seeing me in the next morning then." She put her hands on her hips and cocked her head to the side "Though I maybe pissed"

"Aren't you going to introduce me?" He had a pointed stare at the guy who was sitting on the drums blankly staring at him back.

"Why?" She teased "He's got nothing to do with you. Come on" She took him by the wrist and started heading towards the door "See you monday" She called behind her to the boy and exited the music store.
