The city hummed with the relaxed and busy everyday noises. Unknown for the scenario that was to come. At our hero door step a mysterious package arrives, its presence holding a promise of adventures and magic non had yet witnessed. Lily scoped it up into her hands, opening the door to her apartment and locked the outside world out of her little safe heaven.
It was a big package, two hands to hold it comfortable, but it was not needed to hold for long as she let it down on her black sofa before se went to get a knife to open it up. She had studied the label, there was no sender, so her mind soon went to her friends whom she had told about the theatre play she had for fun signed up to as Odin. Not that she ever believed she would get the role, those thinking the package had to be a prank of her friends to get her hope up for being picked. Well, she was correct to some part of it.
Upon opening it, curiosity just skyrocketed, upon getting through the layers of packaging, a heavy Viking dress. Not only that but buy looking at everything in the package one could believe someone had stolen things from the museum and restored it to a perfect stand. In this she found a ring, it had some spark to it, as if it were trying to drag her to it. By its side was a small spear, a slightly worn one to. As if it had seen it share deal of time, but its owner kept it in best condition.
Lilys laughter could be heard through the small apartment, the craftmanship that had gone to the dress was of first class. "Someone's gone to great lengths for this prank." She mutters to herself. Shaking her head at the absurdity of it all. Yet there was this trill to it, the chance to try something of this quality.
The moment the fabric brushed against her skin, a tremor ripped through the room. Air cracked as if it was in a middle of a thunderstorm, charging the air with otherworldly energy. Colours shifted, shadow danced, and the reality was tearing apart. As soon as it started, it was over, and Lily were nowhere in the apartment to be seen not her or any traces of a package.
There was no time for her to react, not a word was said but a small yelp, as the floor swallowed her up. Wind and thunder making a mess of her apartment, not that she was able to see it.
