Danmachi: Master of the Aegis

Orario's First Driver

So I've wanted to do a story with Danmachi for a while as I love how it combines multiple pantheons of gods and essentially turns power scaling into DnD Spread Sheets. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is an RPG I love and have also wanted to make a story on for a while now so why not combine them? Now I should mention this story will obviously retool Xenoblade lore heavily, which will be a major part of the plot. That aside however let's meet the young Adventurer who will become Orario's first Driver!

Personality: Curious, friendly, wants to uncover secrets of the Dungeon, feels like he doesn't fit in with the rest of the Familia, wants to uncover the secrets of the Corridors and Blades.

Skill

Ancient Knowledge: Originally Unknown in what it does. This Skill allows Leo to read, decipher, and open the Ancient Corridors hidden in each floor of the Dungeon. Leo also learns about what dwells in the corridors at an accelerated rate.

Equipment

Worn Cleaver: A single edged sword that is considerably worn. It has been Leo's primary weapon since he first became an adventurer.

Bio: Leo Barclay has always been a curious individual, finding the Dungeon in the center of Orario to be a mystery that needed to be solved. At the age of fourteen he joined the Loki Familia. Despite not leveling up in two years Leo still explores the Upper Floors of the Dungeon, searching for any potential secrets it may hold. His low level however has made it hard for him to party up with fellow members of his Familia who would prefer exploring the deeper floors. Undeterred despite feeling out of place in the Loki Familia, Leo continues exploring and searching for secrets. Leo did find a companion in one Bell Cranel, a fellow low level adventurer who he would help with quests and explore with despite their goddesses being at each other's throats. Leo's life will take a drastic turn however when he discovers an Ancient Corridor within the Dungeon that would lead him to meeting a strange girl.

Personality: Kind-hearted, mild-mannered, soft spoken, cares about Leo, wishes to uncover the reason for her being sealed away, unsure of her Driver's Familia.

Stat
Duration: A stat unique to Blades, this indicates how much time a Blade can supply their Driver with Ether before needing to rest. This stat increases in increments of 10 seconds for every three monsters slayed. Level ups grant an additional minute.

Duration: 5 Minutes

Bio: Pyra was awakened by Leo Barclay who discovered her in the Ancient Corridor of the second floor of the Dungeon. Not remembering why she and the others Blades were sealed away for an unknown amount of time, Pyra requests that Leo help her in exploring the Ancient Corridors of the other floors of the Dungeon. Wishing to free her fellow Blades, Pyra will help Leo brave the deeper Floors of the Dungeon. Despite her desire for answers, Pyra will never jeopardize her Driver's safety for her own goals. Pyra will do anything to ensure Leo's safety, even fight off other Adventurers if it becomes necessary.

So that's Leo! I hope all of you are willing to give this story a chance since it is a rather strange combination of series. I'm also open to suggestions for Leo's love interest outside of Pyra. Now I probably won't start the Prologue until after I complete a chapter for one of my longer running stories. As always please leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments!
